So what are your beauty pet peeves? What grinds your gears? Share your stories!!!

@Blackwhiskey 😬  Trust your instincts.  If he seems off then he probably is.  The whole point of welcoming people into your life is to make you happy and comfortable.  If he's giving you creep vibes ditch him before he knows too much about you.  Stalkers are scary business and tough I get rid of once they get super attached.

If you do decide to keep him around for a probation period, i'd be checking my fb security settings.  I'd at least set up limitations on him so he can't get access to your friends until you're 100% sure he's alright. 

I added a creepy guy to my friends list who I met out drinking with friends who called my mother asking for my number.  Ummmmmm?  She never gave it to him.  He also had imagined memories of us making out which he decided to share with me in my private messages.  Um no no no.  

Needless to say, he got blocked but not before I tracked him down and took down all his work contacts and personal information.

I feel weird "heart"-ing this post, but I did out of solidarity.  There's something really creepy and entitled about forcing yourself into someone's life like that.  That they don't realize how inappropriate it is is genuinely disheartening and concerning.

Those kinds of situations are unfortunate and really uncomfortable. :S I don't understand how people can get so oddly infatuated with someone they don't even really know. It's so creepy. 

My ex sort of stalks me in a similar fashion (and we broke up over 5 years ago!). He will not stop trying to attempt contact. When I ignored him he started reaching out to my friends. I'm just waiting for the day he somehow gets my address and shows up on my doorstep. :S

@Ascheugh that's creepy! yeah this guy randomly added me on my game thing and he said he hadn't responded to my forum post about knocking out some games but that he had seen it. So from there to saying that i had him added as a friend on fb before was just like, a little red flag. And yeah, it is creepy because even though he says he's looking for friends, he's kind of pushing it. My imagination may jump a bit but some things seem kind of off.

In your case I hope it doesn't come to that. My cousin broke up with her ex last year and he's been sending her DEATH threats. Not only that but he creates FB accounts and if he can get some people to add him as a friend he'll send them disgusting messages of the sexual kind about my cousin and/or other family members. It truly is disturbing, and I can't say much more than that because he is being investigated even though since it's an online thing, it's a hard thing to keep track off, I suppose.

@Blackwhiskey. Screen shot everything!  I took a stalker to court six years ago for sending death threats (and breaking into my house multiple times, stealing my stuff and calling people in my phone list pretending to be other people....etc- all after being given a restraining order.) All this cause I refused to see him.  I knew the guy for three months prior. He ended up going to jail for 18months.   He served his jail time and still tried to contact me for a couple months when he got out.

@Blackwhiskey That's so scary! I hope everything works out alright for your cousin. 😐 I'm glad he's being investigated, nobody should be allowed to torment someone like that.

From what you've said about that guy, I don't think your imagination is exaggerating things. In my experience, if your gut instinct is saying that something is off, it's usually right.

I woke up this morning to notice a bald spot in my eyebrow.  Not a small unnoticeable one either, rather one where there is a gap between the middle of my brow and the end of my brow.  I get that hairs naturally shed, but what happened!! I never had a ton of hairs in that area to begin with, but now it just looks nasty lol.

😄 lol! My cat sleeps beside me in bed, I don't think she'd allow any mice to nibble on my face! I think she'd do the nibbling, hah!

I actually searched my pillow and bed for random brow hairs, no such luck! @Blackwhiskey

When you packed away your cheesy holiday sweaters and can't seem to find them so you can look fabulous and bright when the ocean freezes over.  And while I'm feeling drab, "WHAT GIVES VANCOUVER!!!!????  FROZEN OCEAN IS UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR!!!"   Staaaaaaap!!!!!  You know how much the polar dip is gonna hurt this year?

I realize this means it's super cold, but oh my that looks very pretty and peaceful. Hopefully you're able to make a festive holiday treat or drink despite not getting the sweaters.

What a beautiful view @heartsmyface! I'm so jealous. I'm surrounded by 2 feet of snow, but don't have the ocean view to go with it. 😛 Stay cozy!

@heartsmyface I love this photo!  I live in constant warmth, which has it's upside.  But this photo reminds me of all those of us in crowded, hot cities miss.  Too bad the heat decide to act up, however.

@meganlisa Oh that must be soooooo nice!!!!   I wonder if I would miss the cold. I might miss skiing...apart from that I can't imagine I would.  I enjoy having to travel up the mountain to see snow.  It doesn't need to visit me.

Omg! @heartsmyface if this is your house and everyday view, then I think accepting the frozen ocean one season a year is acceptable! I can only imagine how it looks in the summer :D.

On that note, it does suck when monstrosities are built in your view! We live in a rented townhouse which used to have a beautiful forest backyard view where deer and all sorts of animals would visit.... But then they decided to build their work shed, RIGHT BEHIND OUR PLACE!! Of all places they could have chosen on the lot, ours has a perfect close-up view of the shed.  Wonderful.

@sabrinas we are pretty lucky most of the time.  We get lots of bears, seals (they destroy our grass so we stopped trying), and deer.  We even get the odd mountain lion.  

That truly sucks about the shed.  They could at least inform people when new buildings are going to be put in.

OMG @heartsmyface  I am so jelly LOL  any wolves? or can you hear them howl?  You aren't close to the city are you?

@veronika23 Not wolves that I know of but we get coyotes which are noisy.  We're a 20minute boat ride to to the downtown van or a 40minute drive.  Not too bad.  If Coquitlam counts as the city then we're ten minutes away.
