Went go to use my highlighter for the second time and it completely melted which is confusing because it’s always cold where I am. It’s still useable with brush but was just surprising to see. 😕
GIRL
@peculiarzmakeup Awwww I hate this. It doesn’t feel luxurious using a melted bullet. I had a Dior lipstick that melted on me and I LOVED the colour. It took months to get it looking decent again.
I got a Sephora brush set so I’ve been using that to apply, I also got the WA blush petal and the same thing happened. I thought it was the heat but I guess they just melt for some reason in my experience. That’s tough with the lipstick, I’m glad it’s improved a little since then. 🫶❤️ @heartsmyface I appreciate your kind words and feedback 🙂
When my makeup gets cakey
I got a new Youth To The People Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Peptides 4 oz/ 118 mL and the mist is too fine. I switched out the nozzle with my old one, but I'm wondering if they permanently changed the nozzle. Maybe I got a bum one?
@greeneyedgirl107 Funny: I thought the old spray pump produced a surprisingly fine mist for something that contains shea butter. (Not Glow Recipe watermelon mist fine, but nowhere near as splatterblob as I expected.) And YTTP felt a need to make the mist even finer? Sheesh, talk about brands “fixing” what ain’t broken. 🤦♀️
I’m glad you had an old bottle for a component swap. I can see YTTP changing some of their packaging components to improve their sustainability record. Next time I visit one of my local Sephoras, I’ll have to spray the tester of this facial mist out of curiosity—though I won’t know if the tester’s the old or new packaging, and this is enough dangerous curiosity to make me visit every Sephora store within city limits just to see how fine that mist is now. 😂 And see, this is how I drive myself a little nuts—must know, therefore must test—and end up spending more money because I don’t often leave a Sephora empty handed (too many temptations).
That sounds super frustrating, interesting that the old one isn’t working 🤔 it was good thinking to try though hope it gets resolved 🫶 @greeneyedgirl107
@peculiarzmakeup thank you for the support. My old nozzle did in fact work - maybe I wasn't clear in my post. I don't mind swapping it out, as I save my used packaging for such circumstances. However, I'm concerned in the back of my mind that the nozzle may conk out. Or, that in the future all the nozzles may spray too fine. This is a staple for me, so it's frustrating.
I CANT stand patchy makeup or makeup that doesn’t blend easily!!!!
@KileyRhys I feel you. If the blush picks up my foundation, immediate no.
When sunscreen pills and then ur makeup looks bad
OMG YESS
@katefitz13 pilling is so annoying. One of my worst beauty pet peeves.
WHEN PEOPLE DONT WASH THEIR MAKEUP BRUSHES AND BEAUTY BLENDERS🤬🤬🤬😒😒👹👹🤢🤢
When my lips are chapped 😬
@anniebellecamp agreed! Or when you try lip masks and they’re still chapped. It’s a bummer at times haha
When my foundation does not last the whole day.
Try the Danessa myricks yummy skin blurring balm. It lasts the whole day and feels like nothing!! it also looks better the longer you wear it because the blurring balm absorbs sweat and balances oil all day. I swear by it for hot summers.
