@GG84 That is wrong on so many levels. If you aren’t violating company policy for dress code then there’s no reason your appearance should be commented on. Personally, I’d say something to HR. I still regret not saying something when in a similar situation. (I was told by an awful supervisor to dress more feminine, even though I was perfectly professional. He thought I needed more accessories and higher heels.)

When large chain companies like Sephora continue to carry brands that are not inclusive and troll people especially those that are transgender *cough Too Face cough*. Seriously Sephora you claim to be all inclusive so will you take action against companies that are not?? What has been said is disgusting, and the best way to send the message that this is not okay behavior is to hit them where it hurts - their wallets. #bantoofaced

He definitely made the right decision, I’m not his biggest fan but I assume part of the holdup was that it was his sister and he probably wanted to speak to her directly and privately about it before releasing an official statement.

Wow they fired her. I’m sure that was difficult but they did the right thing.  They clearly took this seriously. This was a quick response considering all of the legal hoops to fire someone.

@Kim888 while I'm glad he responded, and the post was an appropriate one at that, I have to wonder what the hold up was. Does he mean it or is this just lip service?? I hope he means it and maybe the hold up was him taking his time to tell his sister what a complete and utter b*-ch she is. I guess time will tell. Thanks for posting 😊.

Edit: wow he fired his sister!!! Didn't read that part and maybe that was the hold up. Okay!!

I'd love to see a statement made by Sephora on this @niki172.  Will they really hold to their view of being inclusive???

@Indy701 doing the TL; DR part - Someone threatened to blackmail YouTuber NikkieTutorials and tell the world that she is a transgender person. She came out with a video to block the blackmailer and take back her truth and power. Jerrod's sister (who is known to have a mouth on her and he backs her up all the time and never says anything like "I don't agree with my sister" or "you shouldn't say that.") went onto IG and said "that's not the only thing she's lying about." She also changed her IG to this after people came after her. Her account is now private.:

@niki172 It's really despicable ! I'm really surprised Too Faced (or their parent company) has not made a statement stating they do not support or agree with those comments to protect themselves as a brand.  It's not as if Jerrod still owns the brand- isn't Jerrod's sister just an employee (albeit one at a high level)? Companies have employees say inappropriate things all the time -that's what PR is for. 

I'm torn about Sephora itself - I'm guessing disparaging the brands they carry, even if it's deserved, is disallowed by their contracts . They've never commented on KVD for example either with all her controversies or other brands when they had shade range issues. I suppose it could be attributed to just not wanting to involve themselves or risk their business relationships,  - although Sephora France liked her coming out Instagram post (sephora usa may have, no idea, I just say France did when I was scrolling), but if I had to guess I'd say it's a contract issue.

@Kim888  that was my understanding that they both had some role still at Too Faced. How hard is it for ELL to come out with a quick statement saying that's not their view or values?  I know what you mean about KVD, but since her brand is produced/owned by Sephora's parent company I figured nothing would come from that unfortunately. Good for Sephora France - I hope other retailers follow suit.

@Kim888  that's true about contracts... maybe that's why they can't say anything or won't say anything either... like where they stand on this... like you said not getting involved.

@niki172   Can we please just note the "lies to hurt others" part.... if she is referring to Nikki she can go F herself.  It is none of her business and none of ours for that matter either. IMO she didn't lie and everyone is entitled to their privacy... people should only share what they feel comfortable sharing.  This whole thing that because they live public lives everything has to be public is a damn joke. It doesn't concern anyone but the person itself.

@veronika23 exactly! The story I linked in the spoiler does a great job of spelling it out. What goes on in people's private lives as long as they aren't hurting anyone is no one's damn business. The comments were totally uncalled for and since Jerrod hasn't come out and made a statement against what was said I think a statement needs to be sent to him.
