I used one of the verb duos this weekend;). I like!  The shampoo took a bit of colour out of my hair but wasn't too harsh.  @darkiceis

Haha! Did your little one get in to your stash? I don't have children, so I can't relate, but that seems like a pretty low key mess compared to some pictures I've seen or stories I've heard! At least each packet isn't opened and spread all over everything!!

Yep!  Thank goodness he hasn't figured out how to open anything yet!!!  By then I should have gotten around to putting locks on everything or it's all my fault!  @alexasteph

Huh. So has anyone actually looked at the CS group? I just did, and suddenly understand 100% why folks just post a new thread there instead of looking at threads that might answer their question. It looks *nothing* like the rest of the groups/main feed. Instead of showing each thread, it's a running list of *every*single*post* ever made in the CS group. I wouldn't wade through that mess to try and answer my own question either, frankly.

A couple of screenshots in the spoiler. This is my desktop view, Windows, Chrome. Looks the same on my phone (Android, Chrome). I can't speak for the app view, as I refuse to download it lol.

My pet peeve here now shifts towards the sketchy layout, and away from the folks that continually post new CS threads 😕

I just noticed this too! It's a terrible design, I bet most of the people posting don't even realize they're starting a new thread. Clicking on the little support button brings you to the Customer Service page with a big black button in the center top that simply says "Ask a Question". When you click on that, it brings you to the new post page, which then leads to new threads on the main Conversation page.

At the very least, CS should have one of this little FAQ sections of most commonly asked and answered questions (SAMPLES?!?!) to make it simpler for people to check first. Or, put all of these questions originating from this CS page as a new post in one central thread, rather than starting new threads for one off questions.

I really try to help out newbies on the forum and answer questions but, geez, can they acknowledge it in some way? Say thanks, throw me a heart, say I know nothing, tell me to drop dead... anything. I responded - let me know it's appreciated a little - or at least that you read it. Am I being petty?

Human communication norms dictate that you are not being petty.  Being acknowledged is the bare minimal requirement to ask for when you're giving your time to someone.  @jozkid

i get the feeling that half (if not more) of the new people posting don't even know how to get back to their posts to see their replies.  It makes me feel better to think that anyway.

I don't think you're being petty. Speaking as someone who is very new here compared to you guys, even I am tired of it. I can already count several questions that I have answered multiple times (I think possibly from the same users, reposted), so I imagine it feels even more frustrating to people who've been here much longer than I have. I thought it was just me feeling that way so I am glad to hear it is not.

I don't think BIC is that difficult to navigate? I mean, I lurked here for a long time (before the community was switched over) before I worked up the nerve to comment, but that's just my perspective as a newish person. It seems like there a lot of people who come here with a particular agenda right now that does not match the community's agenda of connecting with others about beauty, be it showing off, complaining about a CS issue (could that be resolved elsewhere than BIC?), getting one question answered then leaving, etc. 

It just seems like it's harder to actually make connections with people I would like to make connections with. I am still learning the ropes around here, but that's just my .02.

@blueviolet21  perfectly said! It is very difficult to connect now...  for so many reasons. I would usually scroll the feed and go into threads based on pictures I would see from the main page.  I'm so sad that feature is gone now... so not only do I not see the most active threads on the main feed, I don't have anything enticing me to go into a thread anymore. 😞
