Well, my order from 2/27 wasn't making ANY progress (besides saying "IN PROGRESS"), so I called the Rouge hotline for the first time ever.

 

He couldn't really give me any information but said he would put a request through to the distribution center.

 

An hour later, I get a shipping notification!

 

Happy that it's "moving" now, but I don't know why I had to call to make this happen.. haven't had this issue before at all..

Has anyone else with Flash shipping found it to be kinda...not so flashy lately? I know that the two day countdown starts when the item is actually shipped but lately my shipping is still three days instead of two. I had an order confirm as shipped at 8:30 am on Tuesday Feb. 28. So two-day shipping should give it an arrival of date of today, Thursday, March 2. But instead it's scheduled for tomorrow. 

 

I know it's not the end of the world but I've made some pretty big orders lately and this *is* supposed to be a Rouge perk. I double-checked my account and I'm enrolled in Flash until Jan 1, 2018. 

 

Just gripin'.

Anyone else finding that every time they do a search to see if an item is in stores, Sephora inside JCP doesn't show up anymore? I don't know if it's just been my luck (I've tried about 5-6 products now for brands I KNOW are stocked at the JCP locations), but for everything I searched, NO SiJCP's were listed to have it in stock!  I'm wondering if Sephora removed them from the search feature? 

 

EDIT: It's just been my luck lol I decided to search a nars concealer which I know is always in stock and a JCP showed up, so nvm!

So I had a rollerball go mouldy on me?! Is that normal lol. I've never seen this before. I mean it's been in my purse and I apply when I want just like any other rollerball. It's a mini by Nest. Talk about G-R-O-S-S!!

 

Aaaand I had some glitter from the ABH glow kits I own fall onto my neck area and cause a bit of irritation (might be the Ultimate glow kit or the new NG one). Also my arm was a tad irritated after swatches. Anyone else have this problem. This was from the new ABH x NG kit. Yes ladies there is some shimmer in it. I'm even peeved at my filming equipment lol. I filmed a video yesterday and my tripod is busted and I tried to upload but it failed. What a bummer!!!!!!!! Gaaaaaaa -pulls hair- OH WAIT there isn't much hair to pull since I chopped it all off....wonder what to do with my stress now hahahahaha Smiley Tongue

I bought a NEST candle for $13.75 with sale price + discount on b-glowing a couple weeks ago. I just noticed they charged me $43.75 for it. WTH how does that even happen?? I had to double check it wasn't something else since I've been shopping so much but that was the only order I placed with them.

Peppermint in lipsticks! Why?! Oh my, I just tried my Tarte lippie from the Tarte mini bday gift set... There's bloody peppermint in it! My lips hate peppermint! I hope they will forgive me, and my lip dermatitis will not be triggered. I took it off as soon as I felt it tingling and burning, which was almost instantly. I knew right away there must be peppermint in it. Checked the ingredient list and, of course, there it was. I sure did not expect that. Peppermint in lipsticks?! I am totally bummed. And freaked out. Do I need to start checking all lipstick for peppermint now?! At least with lip balms I know to always check the ingredients. But... lipsticks?! Wow...

 I've been trying to place an order with Zoeva for almost a week now!

 

I really want the Matte Spectrum palette and a couple other things.  So last week I tried to order and use paypal and it didn't work.  Like paypal told me payment was not working, but the Zoeva website said the order was complete and I got a confirmation and everything. 

 

I obviously had to contact customer service which took 2 business days to answer.  And even now they only answer 1 time per day.  I get an email in the morning when I wake up, I respond immediately and then don't get an answer until the next morning!  It's so frustrating when I'm sitting here wondering what's going on!

 

They are very nice, don't get me wrong- just slow.  They said they will cancel my order so I can try to place the order directly through their site and not paypal.  Except apparently I can't do that because it says my "financial institution decline payment."  

 

This is the last time I try to order from another country!  This is stressing me out!

LaserShip -_- I hate LaserShip. I love to take advantage of amazon same day delivery but LaserShip sucks. I ordered yesterday and it was supposed to be delivered last night. Ha ha ha...nope. I spoke to amazon cs and they rectified the situation somewhat. Tracking hasn't changed, nothing. I actually still want the products but can't really order again because LaserShip will deliver it...or lose it. I'm pretty annoyed and feel like I'll have to let my amazon membership go since I just can't deal with LaserShip anymore. So many of the products I want to order is same day shipping now.

We interrupt your browsing to bring you my biggest pet peeve... Jars and Pots! Why do manufacturers and brands use them when they are unhygienic and sensitive ingredients, such as in high end skin care, get exposed to the air and degrade much more quickly. Pumps and dropper bottles are the way to go...even a squeeze tube if it's a thick product! and as for bottles that come without a pump - gah! (ELDW I'm talking about you)

Reformulating products!  NYX Doll Eye just got a new brush, and I suspect the formula changed even though they sd it didn't.  Now I have to go on a scavenger hunt for a new mascara.

 

And don't get me started on products that were discontinued.  Just had to buy a Bare Minerals blush on eBay, and am almost out of my last tube of Sephora Collection Lip Attitude in Mauve Scandal.  I e-mailed Sephora about it, and they were like, "T.S."

I really wanted that KVD 100 pt lippie. But, this site being the major pain that it is wouldn't let me add anything to my cart. ( I guess Sephora doesn't care about making money? ) And, now the lippie is gone! Bloody awesome! Thanks, Sephora.

I left my bag with my skincare routine at home and just got back to college from break :'( .At least it's a good reason to start breaking into my 400 samples while I wait for my main routine to get shipped to me.

What is the point of reaching the top level of a reward program where one of the perks is that you get stuff earlier than others (urban decay rockstar) and another company releases before they do (sephora on app exclusive)

I never thought the sales at sephora were that great especially near black friday where you expect great things its such a let down.They always put the items no one really wants on sale everything else is full price lol.

 

LUSH's after christmas sale also annoys me because they have a virtual wait meaning you cant even enter the website until its your turn and then after everythings picked over by customers ahead of you then you can add items to your cart but nothings left over.

 

Makeup restocks also irritate me because its stressful adding items to your cart and buying the items in a hurry to make sure you get them.It is the most annoying uncomfortable stressful purchase you will ever make.When its over you kinda dont even remember what you bought because you bought the items so fast and just added whatever you could into your cart before it sold out in minutes.

Somewhat beauty related because it involves Sephora but I HATE not being able to write reviews because the site is still messed up! I want to write my heart out and praise all the items I have recently purchased that are awesome and would highly recommend but am not able to on any device or browser that I use Smiley Sad

So... I might be breaking up with Ulta. 

 

I called this morning to find out if there was any ETA regarding the UD Basquiat Vault. The first rep that I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about so when that conversation ended, I called back.  The second rep told me that the stock hadn't come in yet and he wasn't sure if it would but when/if it does, it will go on the website.

 

Then at lunch I see that trendmood has posted that the Vault is available... for people who managed to put it in their favorites before it disappeared from the website hours before the scheduled launch.  Then there were some elated comments from people who could access it and confusion from those (like me) who couldn't see it even with the link.

 

So I called customer service again.  "Oh that's just a rumor, nothing is available, we don't know when it'll be available, it's a website glitch that we've alerted our tech people to. yadda yadda yadda" "Um," I say, "it's not a rumor, people have posted pictures of their order confirmations."  "No, it's absolutely a rumor but some of our stores have this [online only] item." Riiiiiiiight.

 

Then on the train home, I see this Ulta Beauty post on TwitterScreen Shot 2017-05-02 at 7.39.59 PM.png

 

Confuse me?  I thought there was still a delay. I thought that the stories of vaults purchased earlier were "rumors".

So, because I'm a hunter and obsessive, I call again.  And the Ulta rep tells me that it hasn't launched, they don't know when it will launch and no one has actually purchased the vault, maybe they are just seeing it in their carts from the [nonexistent] time when they were able to put it there.  "Nope," I say "your twitter just completely contradicts what you just said."  And as I went back to twitter so that I could tell her which tweet I was referring to:

"oh" says the rep, "let me check with someone, I only know what I was told..."  Then she comes back to confirm that yes, there was a launch of 50ish vaults and they are all gone and none of the higherups at Ulta thought to tell the CS reps so that they wouldn't be giving false information all day. 

 

Argh!

 

 

TL;DR WTF Ulta, that Basquiat Vault Launch was horrendous.

I did a return and the SA created a NEW rewards acct under my phone number. So now of course my points are all messed up and in two places. 

 

Extremely rude. How can you create an acct for me without my consent?
