Last year I started this late, so I figured that this year I'd start early!  Feel free to post about all things fall, Halloween, beauty and everything in between.  Answer as many or as few prompts as you'd like, and know that you're encouraged to add your own ideas as well!

October 28: Would you ever dress up your pets?  If I tried, one of us would end up in the hospital (and it wouldn't be Ivan).

October 29: Favorite fall activity?  Looking at the lovely fall colors.

October 22: Are you missing summer?  What do you miss? Well, it's a cold and rainy day today, so yes! I miss warmer weather and longer sunnier days!

October 23: What candles are good this time of year? I don't really do candles, but I imagine anything with a warm spicy or woody scent would be nice.

October 24: What stores had the best Halloween displays or merchandise?  Has anyone in your neighborhood done anything special...or tasteless?! I don't know about stores, I haven't really been shopping in store much lately. One person in my neighborhood has a 12ish foot tall plastic skeleton with flashing eyes lit up by red spotlights at the end of their driveway. I almost gave myself whiplash the first time I drove past it!

October 25: Best way to consume pumpkin?  (Beer, pie, cookies...) Pie, muffins, cookies - any kind of baked good really.

October 26: Do you prefer tricks or treats? Treats every time!

October 27: Do you send Halloween cards? Nope.

October 28: Would you ever dress up your pets? I put bow ties and bandanas on my cats from time to time, I just think they are so cute! I actually have a bat wings costume I got for my cat, but I am not sure if he will let me put it on him! 😅

October 29: Favorite fall activity? If the weather's nice, going for a walk or hike and enjoying the fall colors. If it's cold and wet like today, curling up inside with a warm drink and a good book! 🍵📖

October 29: Favorite fall activity? 

Staying inside on a chilly day, warm drink in hand, watching squirrels run around hunting for the last few seeds and berries in the neighbourhood. 

Also, patiently waiting for Nov 1 when all the Halloween candy goes on sale so I can buy a big box of smarties. (The Canadian chocolate, not those sugar pill ones.)

Omg yes! @JoSometimes The best candy days are 1) day after Halloween 🎃 or 2) day after Valentine's 😉🍭

@CynthieLu Don’t forget the day after Christmas (Boxing Day for us Canadians) All the Christmas chocolates go on sale too! And Easter too! (Can you tell I have a sweet tooth? 😜🍬)

I almost mentioned those too 😉 @JoSometimes flash back 10 years ago, me hitting up shoppers after every holiday for marked down fancy chocolate 🤗

@CynthieLu I don’t usually do Christmas chocolate since it’s like the most common gift I get from students at work and I usually wind up with more boxes than I can handle. I always go after Easter, Halloween, and Valentines though. 😋

October 29:  favorite fall activity?  I have a few

Penn State football on Saturday (when they win)

Watching the wildlife near me

Baking fall treats

Giving out candy to the cute trick or treaters that come to my house

And of course leaf peeping (and hiking)

Going for walks on the beautiful fall days. 🍂 If it's too damp or chilly, bundling up and enjoying a hot drink. ☕

October 26: Do you prefer tricks or treats?

I don’t think I’ve ever been tricked on Halloween. As a kid, I thought TP-ing a house would be funny. Now, it’s wasteful and seems like a nuisance to deal with. I’ll take treats any day!

I honestly did not know this was a thing until recently!

My dog is teeny tiny and hard to find any accessories for. I did find this pineapple costume at Winners many years ago meant for a puppy and it fit perfectly! He did not like the pineapple crown hat so much and took it off himself shortly after this photo.

This was the best looking photo @Titian06! He was pretty miserable. He’s not usually a cuddle monster and likes his own space.

@JoSometimes  aww what a cutie your pup is in his little pineapple costume! 🍍I have some bat wings that I got for my cat, but I don't know if he will tolerate them 😅

Thank you @caitbird! He’s far from a pup now. He’s into his golden years now. 

A cat with bat wings would be so amusing! Getting them on is probably a different story.
