Last year I started this late, so I figured that this year I'd start early!  Feel free to post about all things fall, Halloween, beauty and everything in between.  Answer as many or as few prompts as you'd like, and know that you're encouraged to add your own ideas as well!

What's your Decorating Style?

For Halloween and Autumn we do spooky cute more than actually spooky. We have skeletons and pumpkins scattered around. I change my table cloths, runners, towels etc.. to fall orange, red or patterned with fall leaves. We put out pumpkins,  scented candles and soaps with autumn vibe scents. We have a few windows stickers and other Halloween 👻🎃 items around too give a fun Halloween/Fall vibe.

We definitely don't go the subtle route @JoSometimes but it's not too over the top I swear 😄🎃 it sounded like allot as I was writing about it but it is spaced out nicely ☺️

Reeces, Twix, Snickers are top. Candy Corn, peppermint patties, hard chewing gum are bottom.

lots of fun pumpkins! sadly, I can’t do real ones as I’m worried about attracting pests in my apartment but I love spooky candle holders !

Ideas to kick off fall?  For me it going up to the mountains and seeing the yellow aspens and taking the annual picture of my husband at the same spot

Any superstitions?   i do watch what i do on Friday the 13th

Favorite things about pumpkins?  Everything I especially like the warty ones

 Mars or Hershey's brand candy?  do i really have to pick

Ways to keep your spirits up as the season changes?  Make soup  & go for a long walk on a cool day

Creepy things that you enjoy?  bats

Halloween  nail ideas?  no idea

What colors compliment orange and black?  definitely gray

How have you noticed Halloween changing over time?   in my area the outdoor decorations rival Christmas

Any cocktails or mock-tails that sound interesting?  I make cosmos and substitute pomegranate juice for the cranberry juice to make it look more like blood.

Favorite sounds of the season?  Walking on the crisp fallen leaves

Are you into the Hocus-Pocus movie mania?  I have never seen this movie, please don't judge

Best baked goods?  Pumpkin anything.   I am going to try my hand at pumpkin cake donuts this weekend.

October 1: Who's your favorite witch?

Ohhh… This is hard. I think I’m going to go with Tilda Swinton as the White Witch from the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. She does such a great job and portraying cold, distant characters. Honorable mention to Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Top 3: Nestle Crunch, Nestle Smarties (not the medicine tablet looking things in the US), M&M Peanut or Almond

Bottom 3: Rockets (or Smarties as they’re called in the US), any kind of jawbreaker type thing, any kind of pink bubble gum

Sorry I saw this post @JoSometimes. I forgot about M&M peanuts. I used to eat a whole pound bag by myself. I have been watching my weight and finally I can say that this is the least I’ve weighed since the pandemic.

I stopped playing attention to my eating habits @tsavorite . The weight just started piling on and I was uncomfortable with that. I usually start my diet on January 2 but I had another excuse. Anyway I started on March 1 and I have lost between 25-30 pounds. I still want to lose at least 10 more pounds. I am now hoping to have my joints feel better.
