38 items in all!!!! That's pretty ridiculous! Is anyone else this bad?

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

I do all my skincare stuff (FAB pad thingys and moisturizer)

I put on BB cream

I put on under-eye concealer and use the same product to prime my eyelids

Bronzer

Blush

Sephora's sunset trio of eye shadows

Mascara

Lipstick, sometimes with lipliner underneath sometimes not (but I just ordered some lip primer so soon I will be using that as well)

So if you count the parts of the sunset trio as separate things that's 10-11 products soon to be 11-12

Now of course it's been hideously muggy lately here in MA and so I've just been putting on mascara and lip stuff.  Everything else feels like it's melting off (even though looking in the mirror says it isn't melting much it just feeeeeeeels gross)

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

I feel your pain! Nars setting powder and Urban Decay All Nighter are the only things that keep my face from melting during the summer in Florida.

Please let me know if your new lip primer turns out to be fantastic; mine's been discontinued and I'm in the market for a new one.

Mine is similar to Meg82.

Wash Face and serum.

BB cream

under eye concealer

blush

Ambient Light Powder

Mascara

Lip product

I'm pretty low maintenance with makeup, even though I'm obsessed with it.

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

What type of primer do you use for pores or redness? I'm using Smashbox green corrective primer. It's ok for pores, but it's not doing much for redness.

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

im using the makeup forever HD primer in the shade 1, i have pretty mild rosecea, but it really does make such a big difference, i dont see much for pores i use a different foundation for that but the green one is amazing.

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

I will use Mascara and multiple lip products, chap stick, lip gloss, lip stick ( when my lip product has worn off I just grab whatever is closest). Occasionally I will use Olay.

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

After washing and moisturizing my face and all that.

eyebrow pencil

eyebrow gel

eye primer

eyeshadow

liquid liner

pencil liner

Re: BE HONEST! How many cosmetic products do you own and or use a day (tools not included)

Hmm, well, I used cleanser/toner/serum/moisturizer on my face this morning.  And I dried and curled my hair.

And so far, that's it.  Plenty for driving my husband to work and working from home.

On a typical day:

Clean as above

Possibly skip moisturizer for BB cream -- it's too humid for both.

My current moisturizer has no SPF, so if I use that, I use tinted sunscreen from Clarins.  (I love it and it seems to make things less oily, too.)  Or I just go with moisturizer with SPF and nothing extra.

eye primer

eye shadow; usually line with dark shadow and smudge brush

highlighter

bronzer

blush

(minimal for all of the above; just a bit of contour and color back in the face)

finishing powder -- helps in this humidity

lash primer

mascara

I usually forget to put something on my lips and end up applying that later.  Tarte Lipsurgence or Clinique Chubby Stick are my two favorite choices at the moment
