OK, @lmaster, @itsfi , I've haven't used it very much (I've hardly been home the last couple of days and it isn't exactly an on-the-go/purse product, lol) but I have some initial thoughts.

I was initially disappointed when I first opened the jar because my first thought was, "Why doesn't it smell like apple?!"  However, as soon as I dug into it with a little spatula I got a whiff of a light, sweet apple scent.  It's not super-strong and once it's on my lips I can only detect the scent for a short time but it's enough to be there.  

The consistency isn't what I expected because when I scooped it out I thought that it felt just slightly stiff and thick--expected for a lip mask--but upon applying it, it's as though it emulsifies into a slightly oily consistency, almost like the cleansing balm!  It ends up feeling much thinner on the lips than one might initially think and for that reason I don't honestly find that it lasts as long nor does it give quite as much of the intense hydration as I might have hoped BUT for people who hate a thick balm, this would be perfect.  It's absolutely nothing like either the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration with Vitamin C, the Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask Original,or LAWLESS Forget The Filler Overnight Lip Plumping Mask, just to compare it to a few of other balms that Sephora carries. 

Do I like it?  Yes.  Is it an instant favorite?  No, I don't feel that way about it only because I hoped that it would be just a tad more nourishing and last a bit longer but it may just be one of those things that I end up liking and appreciating more after I've had more time to use it.
