Writing reviews about Sephora employees

often when i go into sephora, they give me a website to go to in order to write a review of my experience. does anyone have a link to that website? i keep forgetting to write reviews and then when i'm ready, i can't find the website.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

Hi Ghkim It is http://survey.medallia.com/sephora/usa. Smiley Happy Thanks providing the feedback!

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

thanks! do you know if there is a link from the sephora website, for future reference?

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

No, it's not on our site.  You should get it with your receipt. Otherwise we can give it to you Smiley Happy

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I wanted to give formal feedback about Meriam at the Memorial City Mall Store, but I have managed to loose my receipt.  So this is the only place I can find to do this without a receipt.  If it helps, I shopped there this morning and checked out twice within about 45 minutes (between 10:00 and 10:45).

When I was checking out, I remembered that I wanted to talk to someone about skin care.  I feel so lucky that Meriam was on deck this morning.  She was so incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful.  I was thrilled to get that level of advice on skin care, right there in a retail store.  She is a gem.  It is obvious that she loves what she does and loves to teach people about how to care for their skin.   I am already a fan of this store, but now, I am calling ahead to see if Meriam is there before I come for skin care products.

Meriam gets the highest rating for me in customer service, knowledge of products, knowledge of skin care, courteousness, professionalism, checkout, pure kindness, personality, credentials, and anything else you would ask in your customer review form.

Oh, and if you can, please see that she reads this note.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I always shop at the Memorial city mall store, Ill make sure and ask for Meriam next time I'm shopping for skin care products !

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I walked into the Champaign,IL store today and Tristan(or Tristin?) was awesome with the foundation, toner and moisturizer but she had a client who had a booked appointment and bumped me to another store associate which I understood. I didn't get the name of the second associate but she's just the worst! - I left Sephora with eye shadow  on my eyelashes and under my eyes! Needless to say, I didn't buy the eye shadow - If a someone who is supposed to be a pro can't do it right how am I supposed to figure it out?

If anyone looks at this - please retrain that employee!

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

Eeek....I had a thread shut down for mentioning a specific employee and location (though it isn't banned in the BT rules).  And i got a lot of hate in comments.  Is it now allowed?

Granted, mine was negative.  But are we now only allowed to post names and locations of Sephora employees if it's positive?

Sorry for pushing it...but seems a little ...

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I visited the Sephora that is in JC Penny in GB Wisconsin. Christi is the nice woman who assisted me. I had some questions and she was more than happy to help. She did the 15  minute makeover on me (Everyday eye) and it looks fabulous! She also helped match me with foundation. I have sensitive skin and the wrong foundations make my skin burn. She gave me two samples of the foundation that works best for me. I tried one and I absolutely love it. I am looking to buy the full thing soon.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

stay away frim Deptford new jersey location. the "manager" Brittany is really rude and unhelpful. Really unpleasant experience. she would not even give put her last name, I wonder why. Just terrible, go to cherry hill mall instead. Much more pleasant ppl there.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

Greenwood Park Mall in Indiana has both a SiJCP and a stand-alone store. Both have great employees who are eager to help you find something or give you recommendations. I've recently learned better ways to apply under-eye concealer so that my dryness isn't obvious.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

The 3 stores on my island (oahu) are pretty good. They cater a lot more towards the tourists which I understand. I will say that at the Pearlridge store you'll find some pretty pushy or rude workers because they assume you can either not afford or should be able to afford things based on your apperance. I think this is common in all places in retail, but it's just very irritating. The Sephora in Ala Moana (my favorite) has some stellar employees but a small group of either pushy/judgey SA's or just some SA's that just don't have a clue what they're doing. The other Sephora (Kalakaua) is very diverse and full of a variety of workers. Although they try to approach more of the tourists, they're still very nice and i've never had a bad experience there. If you're going to be in a place with so much tourist people traffic you won't last long if you have a terrible attitude.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

Recently visited the new Sephora at the Grove. I usually don't like people applying makeup to my face but Grace was so great at what she does and made me feel comfortable letting her play around with makeup. I ended up purchasing a bunch of new products and have received many compliments. She was very honest and SO SWEET! Will definitely be coming back thanks to her!

Thanks Grace!

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I had my make-up done by Beatriz of the Arcadia West field Santa Anita Mall back in October. I unfortunately lost the card with the instructions on where to leave my feedback -- so hopefully I'm doing this in the correct place!

Beatriz was extremely bubbly and happy to be there at the Sephora to do her job. On a hectic evening such as Halloween, Beatriz managed to squeeze me in for an appointment last minute (thanks to me) to get basic make up done, since I was going to celebrate my 21st birthday instead of dressing up in a costume. Beatriz knew exactly what I wanted, was very patient, and preformed her job excellently.
I look amazing that night.
She made me feel like I was talking to the "cool aunt" of the family, giving me advice not only on make-up, but on how to handle my friend if they tried to peer pressure me into getting wasted on my 21st birthday night.
I promised to come back with cookies to thank Beatriz, yet unfortunately I have not Smiley Sad
I will make sure to soon, though!
The only downside to my visit in October was that a friend of mine told me later that same week since it was my birthday, I should've received a Beauty Insider sample for my birthday.
Whether or not I missed out on something cool like that, I had the pleasant encounter with a great person like Beatriz Smiley Happy
Thanks so much!!

Basic make-up despite it being Halloween ~ a few people said I looked like Morello from OITNB, which was a TOTAL compliment.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

@Pandulce94 your makeup looks great. What was on your lips?

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

This is for Jenny at the Pen Center Sephora in Ontario, Canada.

I really enjoyed my experience there. This is really late posting but oh well.

I'm a beginner when it comes to make up. Jenny made sure I picked the right tone for my MakeUp Forver HD foundation and concelear. We also went to the way to brows and my goodness I couldn't believe the difference it makes. I'm really basic and a total beginner when it comes to make up but Jenny made it fun and easy which I love!!! Thanks so muc Jenny will definitely be back to get some more tips and tricks Smiley Happy

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I most often frequent my Sephora in JCP at the local mall, the Florence mall in Florence KY and I've never had anything other than  GREAT experiences there! I've also been to a couple other area Sephora's and those trips were okay but my local store is my favorite in regards to great service. Thanks ladies!

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

i am a regular customer at the sephora store there, i have been with many girls there before and i appreciate all the help they give but sometimes you can see it in the girls faces that they are starting to get annoyed or tired of trying to help you out when it comes to picking a new color in certain makeups. but every time me and my sisters go to Vanessa she never lets us down. takes the time she needs to help us pick the right tool we are looking for. She listens carefully and does her best in any way she can. she is personally our entire families favorite employer at Sephora. if anyone ever needs someone to do their makeup for them or help with anything. i never, ever leave reviews but for Vanessa, i highly recommend her for anyone.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

I've been to the Sephora in Barton Creek mall in Austin a few times now, and every experience has been great! Yesterday though, was extremely wonderful. For years, I've struggled with super sensitive and very red skin. I usually just wear makeup and conceal it, because I could never exactly pinpoint why my face was so red. I went into Sephora and explained my problem and Simone in skincare was extremely knowledgeable and was able to help me find the right cleanser and face moisturizer, and even gave me a sample to try out a new gentle exfoliating cleanser! Today. I woke up without red skin, which is a sight I haven't seen in a very very long time. Thank you Simone!! You are amazing!

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

This is a weird story that's embarassing to tell but, last year, I was getting my eyebrows drawn in at Sephora (I won't mention the location or employee per maganlisa's experience). Anyways, I started to smell a strong musky smell. I thought the product that the employee was using on my face must've gone bad, but then I realized that it was the employee's hand that smelled so strongly. I didn't say anything, but how unsanitary to have your hand smell so rotten and the put it close to a  customer's face! Ugh, what a gross experience. I don't think i'll ever get my makeup done again.

Re: Writing reviews about Sephora employees

So I saw my name....

The store where I had my problem recently closed....

Your story is so gross!  Ick.  I don't know how I would have responded (the smell and all that goes with it).
