Which cleanser is safe to use around the eye area?

I currently use the Fresh Soy Cleanser. Love it - safe to use in the eye area, doesn't sting the eyes and makes my face feel squeaky clean and glowy. But what sets me back is the price point. I think $38 for 1.7oz is a little steep.

My skin is normal/dry in the winter, and normal with oily t zone in summer months. Any suggestions for an equally good and effective cleanser at a fraction of the price?

Hi babypig,

I love the Fresh cleanser too, it was great around my eye areas but I agree about the price Smiley Wink

Are you looking for a basic cleanser or did you need something to remove makeup? If you need something to remove makeup before cleansing, I recommend you try a cleansing oil like the Josie Maran Argan which is super light and gentle on the eyes and removes every inch of makeup.

Josie Maran - Argan Cleansing Oil

As for a cleanser, I suggest the Caudalie Gentle Cleanser

Caudalie - Gentle Cleanser

or the Origins A Perfect World (both are gentle, creamy and softening on the skin)

Origins - A Perfect World™ Antioxidant Cleanser with White Tea

Hmm, I tried them a while back, and think Boscia purifying cleanser is very similar:

I have combo/dry in the winter and combo/oily in the summer. I don't think the Fresh Soy cleanser is very foamy, and I like my cleanser foamy. I'm a fan of Clarin Gentle or Origins Checks and Balances cleanser, both only need a little bit to work into a very rich lather, leaves my face squeaky clean but not dry. Most cleanser can be used lightly around eye area, but if you are removing make up, use make up remover or double cleanse.

I was about to suggest the Argon oil as well.  My eyes are so sensitive; but I can apply this to my lids and beneath my eyes.  I swear it just might clean the paint off the wall, but doesn't dry my skin.... It's amazing and I will love it forever.
