What do you recommend for age spots? Clinique's product did nothing for me.

Re: What do you recommend for age spots? Clinique's product did nothing for me.

I have some discoloration spots by my eyes and been using this PTR De-Spot Skin Corrector. I started using it about a month ago but kinda forget to put iton sometimes. (signs of laziness, lol) But, I see that the discoloration are starting to fade. There is one spot next to side of my nose and now it is almost gone.

Hope this helps.

Hi Lizzardlips,

I recommend the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation®, it uses an alternative to Hydroquinone which is used in a lot of dark spot removing products. It is more gentle yet still effective. Right now, we carry a trial size for $14.00.

I agree with PTR! Works well, especially for skin which may be sensitive.

I have to say a really great product is Kiehl's clearly corrective dark spot solution. Over time you will see results. You can go to their store and get samples to try it out.

With all respect to charlyc, Clearly Corrective did nothing for mine and was a waste.  It may work for you though, but definitely get samples before committing to a full bottle to be sure.

What helped with mine was lactic acid peels and Ambi.

Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial works great for me, much better than the Clinique which did help clear up discolorations from my son's acne flare ups.
