Liquid Eye Liner Newbie

I'm new to the area of liquid eye liners.  I'm looking for a good liner that goes on dark and saturated.  I don't want to have to "paint" on the color.  I went to Walmart and tried a liquid liner ( I know, bad move....but I hated it because the brush was so thin and the color not saturated AT ALL).... any suggestions on a good liner that I can start with?

Hi scrappingqueen,

Pencil style liquid eyeliners with felt tipped brushes are a nice option for beginners, as they don't require a super steady hand giving you more control of your lines. Both Kat Von D Tattoo Liner and Bobbi Brown Ink Liner will provide you with rich opaque lines in just one or two strokes.

Felt tip is the best way to go if you are a beginner.  If you want to try something in the drugstore area, use the Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner (or Master Precise Felt-Tip Liner) or the L'Oreal Lineur Intense Carbon Black Felt Tip Liner.

For Sephora, try the Stila Waterproof Stay All Day liquid liner.

But, if you still don't like liquid, there's nothing wrong with try gel liner, which is much more manageable.

Hope this helps!
