Can I wear red?

Ive been told that everyone can wear red, but I've never been one for it...until now I have a curiosity suddenly. I am blonde, with brown eyes, and I've been told I'm warm toned, neutral ...not yellow nor pink. I'm not totally fair, more of a light or medium light shade. I get tan in the summer... What red lipstick do u think would work for me? That way I can go into the store prepared at least for some to try on. I've been eyeing up Nars red Lizard, but I'm not sure. I know I don't want the color to go towards pink or brown, a true red. Thank u!

Hey! I'm extremely pale (my friends claim I glow in the dark). I find a deep red to burgundy a good color fit. Unless you have very strong warm under tones stay away from orange bases at the beginning. They can come off as very garish. A deep red will work for day and if you're feeling daring at night try litter pattering in some vibrant fire truck reminiscent reds. Hope this helps!

well, you won't know until you swatch them on your hand. Sometimes the computer screen color is true, but depending on if it's sheer or opaque, the color might or might show up different on your lips.

I think dark red makes me look old. Go to the store and ask them to recommend a fire engine red with warm undertone, swatch them on your hand and look at it under different lighting (preferably natural daylight for true color). NARS, YSL, and Dior all have great lipstick. MUFE lipsticks have very saturated colors, and I'm currently obsessed with Tarte lip stain, which are really moisturizing lipsticks in chubby crayon form.
