Birthday Brush Set

My 17th birthday's in a couple of months and I'm already starting to look for things to add to my wish list. I've been looking for brush sets, mostly, but I can't decide which one to buy that has everything, or mostly everything I need.

I need one that has:

-Foundation brush

-Concealer brush

-Powder brush

-Blush brush

-Brow Brush and Lash Comb

-Eyeshadow brushes

(And possibly a fan brush)

If I could get recommendations, that would be amazing. I'd also prefer if they had synthetic hair.

Re: Birthday Brush Set

Ack, the ones I want to recommend are sold out already. On Sephora, you might be interested in these 2 sets:

Otherwise I've heard good things about Sonia Kashuk (Target), Eco Tools and Rea Technique brushes from drugstore.

Re: Birthday Brush Set

If I could just ask, which were the ones you were going to recommend? I'm pretty sure they will restock them before June Smiley Happy

Re: Birthday Brush Set

Google Sephora Cashmere Brush set (very soft, and I'm partial to white brushes so I can make sure all make up is cleaned) and Sephora Pantone Emerald Brush Set (the case turn into a stand to display the brushes). They are gone very recently so they are probably still available instore.

There's always going to be hit/miss in a brush set, but I'm kind of partial to white brushes (for no reason, also if they are white they are definitely synthetic). But the 2 sets I linked above have the brow/lash comb.

Check your personal messages, just sent you some info!

Re: Birthday Brush Set

I would recommend getting a few stable brushes and then adding to it as needed. I really like our Sephora Collection brushes. They're affordable and very durable. The Sephora Collection contains a powder brush, a foundation brush, a concealer brush, a blending brush, a liner brush, and a brow brush/lash comb.

All you would need to add on is a fan brush, a blush brush, and a flat shadow brush.

Whimsically yours,

Re: Birthday Brush Set

Hi SJarrar,

If you want to purchase everything in just ONE set, the closest suggestion I have for you that we sell at Sephora is the Deluxe Antibacterial Set which includes  a foundation brush, concealer brush, powder brush, angled eye shadow brush, eye blender brush, lip/eyeliner brush, and a brow brush/lash comb.

The only thing it does not have? A blush brush! In that case I'd suggest either a Bobbi Brown Blush Brush which has the long handle that makes it easy for just the right amount of color:

Or try a slanted blush brush so you get a more angled and precise application:

Re: Birthday Brush Set

The brushes that I use everyday are Real Technique brushes. Sephora doesn't sell them, but you can get them from the real technique website or Amazon. I love them! They are all synthetic hair, easy to clean, super soft, and not overly expensive. If you got two out of three of the package deals they have you would get most of the brushes you want.

This is the Core Collection $18

-detailer brush

-pointed foundation brush

-buffing brush

-contour brush

This is the Starter Set $18

-base shadow brush

-deluxe crease brush

-accent brush

-pixel point eyeliner brush

-brow brush

They also have plenty of other brushes you could add on like a brow brush/ lash comb that you want.

Re: Birthday Brush Set

LOVE this purple eye starter set. just edited my original post- sorry I didnt read and just assumed they were sigma brushes.

Also I tried the Wet & Wild Palletes you suggested a while back and LOVE them. I got Petal Pusher and Comfort Zone.  Thank you!

Re: Birthday Brush Set

I highly recommend the Sigma brush kit! They have one called the Mr. Bunny that is synthetic/vegan friendly. They are great quality and are on the cheaper end of the high end, if you know what I mean.

Re: Birthday Brush Set

Bhumi they blow sigma out of the water. They are pricey but follow them on Facebook and instant am they always have flash sales and 40% off sales. They are high quality and if you get them at the right time they only cost 10 dollars more. Than sigma. And they come with 40% of next purchase of the set you trade in your old set for a new one. They are totally synthetic and Sooo soft. I would buy real technique before I bought sigma better quality much cheaper. Btw I own the bhumi core set I believe I payed 150 shipping included, three day shipping
