BB creams......

Hi, I have been hearing about bb creams on this forum, and I was just wondering if someone could explain to me exactly what bb creams are and what they do? Thanks Smiley Surprised)

Re: BB creams......

Hi a2z1,

Beauty Balms or B.B. Creams were originally developed as a perfect post-procedure cream used to treat, hydrate, prime, protect, and camouflage the skin. Great for all skin types including those with sensitive skin, these versatile “five-in-one” formulas are designed to do it all: treat with high levels of active skin care ingredients; moisturize and smooth dehydrated skin; prime and perfect skin’s surface; camouflage and color correct the skintone; and protect skin from the sun with SPF. They can be used as a last step for their skincare benefits or used on their own as an instant beautifier. The next time you are in your local Sephora, one of the Cast Members would be happy to make you a sample to try out Smiley Happy

xo, Mia

Re: BB creams......

miabt, so are you saying here the BB cream is okay to use under a regular foundation?

Is it enough SPF protection if your face cream does not have it?

Re: BB creams......

Layering a BB cream under a foundation isn't necessarym if you intend to do thatm you might as well find a fuller coverage foundation so you're not layering so much product on your skin.

Cosmetics with SPF often do not give you enough coverage as no one lays their make up thick enough to have that full SPF offered, It's still best to get your SPF from your face lotion or an actual sunscreen. The funny thing is, most people people don't know that it takes about a teaspoon of sunscreen/SPF face lotion to get the advertised SPF amouint on skin. Plus, SPF does not add upm so don't think that your face lotion at SPF 15 plus your BB cream or foundation at SPF 15 means you have 30 on, you still just have 15.

Re: BB creams......

Hey there! Saw you also posted this in Face Make Up not long ago!

Try to avoid posting duplicate threadsm it can create confusion for posters as they don't know where you would prefer an answer and keeping one thread allows you to keep better track of responses!
