Anyone have a fix for the tiny, feathery like lines around the mouth?

The area around your lips is as thin as the area around your eyes (that's where aging tends to accumulate first along with our necks) so here's what can help.

- What I like to do is use my eye cream around my mouth. If it has peptides or retinol in it this will help a lot. You could also just use a regular retinol cream

 - Although hydration is key for healthy skin, pursing your lips together from drinking water bottles can increase these lines as well. Look for a bottle that squirts water into your mouth instead. Also the act of smoking and smoking itself can increase these lines. 

- I also like to use a super hydrating oil in this area. I would recommend the tarte maracuja oil or the josie maran argan oil. Herbivore also makes a good anti aging oil as well. Use vitamin C in the morning and stick to a good routine. If that doesn't help then maybe a trip to your dermatologist/esthetician is necessary.
