Sunscreen in foundation diluted by application ??

I always use a foundation or bb cream that contains SPF.  I know to get optimal  spf coverage you must apply a thorough and liberal coating.  I have been wondering if you apply this using a damp beauty blender would this weaken the sunscreen in the foundation?  I've never really thought about it until now but I'm thinking it must damage the spf protection.  Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Re: Sunscreen in foundation diluted by application ??

Typically sunscreen in a foundation and BB/CC cream is already diluted by the amount of other chemicals needed to make up the product. A damp beauty blender will soak up the foundation and cause dilution to the product thus not allowing for maximum coverage. I use a primer first then a 50 SPF moisturizer (or sunscreen) for best results. Sephora has a lot of high end sunscreens available for purchase that are a lot better for your skin and nicer under makeup.
