Morphe 9E pretty in peach tutorial

Hi there. I recently purchased the Morphe 9E pretty in peach eyeshadow palette.  I am 56 and have dark brown eyes and hair and olive skin tone.  I love the colors but would like some help with color selection and placement.  

I have basically been using the number 1 for a transition shade or 6.  And using 7 for an eyeliner on the top to kind of wing out. 

I wasn't sure if it is best to spray my Mac setting spray onto the liner brush first then eyeshadow or vice versa. 

I also tried to look online for ideas for how to use the colors and be age appropriate but I couldn't find any. 

 

I would appreciate any help. Please and thank you. 

I also enjoy the no makeup makeup look and use a lot of Merit or Jones Road products.
