Chlorine skin for swimmers

I have been swimming for exercise here recently and it has been great for strength and endurance, but my poor skin is just dry and suffering. Any swimmers out there with tips for hair and skin that suffers from chlorine exposure?

I don't have experience with this, but I have a friend who struggled with it. She swore by coconut oil!
