my bronzer is separating

I have tried so many bronzers and it seems like all of them separate on my cheek bones and leave circles where there is just no makeup there. I have tried all the different application techniques. The rare beauty bronzing stick does it the worst and I don't know what to do!!

sometimes i use the elf grip primer and sometimes I don't but whether I use a primer or not it still separates as I'm putting it on

It could be something to do with your skincare or foundation.
