clogged pores

Does anyone know any products to use for clogged pores? I’ve tried the paulas choice but it’s been like 3 months and it still doesn’t work. Any recommendations?

Are you using a retinol? I found that retinoids did much more to clear my pore clogging than anything else did (but that working with an acid too was a great combo) 

If you can get an Rx for a derm that’s often the best / cheapest retinoid but for Sephora brands I like Murad Retinol Youth Renewal Firming & Smoothing Serum with Hyaluronic Acid  and BeautyBio The Nightly Overnight Retinol Repair + Peptide Anti-Aging Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL  both of which seem to have a good amount of active ingredient. I’d keep the BHa you’re using with these and just alternate nights.

you also might try an AHA. I find it has a bit different effect than the BHA and sometimes one will give me a boost when the other won’t. 

Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Peel Mask 2.5 fl oz/75 mL  is a great AHA option 

also in my experience, clogged pore clearing takes time! It’s annoying but keeping up a good regimen will make progress.

The other thing I’d recommend is to check if any of your products or makeup are clogging your pores. This derm website lets you paste in the ingredient list and it will flag if there are any pore clogging ingredients. Sometimes even if a brand says they are non clogging in reality they do contain clogging ingredients 😕

@defnothannah what PC r u using?  If the BHA 2% isn't working, I highly rec #Paula's choice bha 9...for some reason I can't tag.  Also, innisfree Volcanic AHA Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz/ 100 mL and #Kiehl's Micro-Dermabrasion which I also can't tag.

2-3 times per week, I use Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Cookies N Clean Whipped Clay Pore Detox Face Mask with Salicylic Acid + Charcoal 2.5 oz/ 75 mL  . It's a mask that deeply purifies pores and I cannot live without it. 

I saw results after only 1 week.
