Clinique is a great brand for sensitive skin and is very unisex. If you know your skin type (I would guess oily), get a good skincare regime going. My husband had complaints of oily skin but was not moisturizing. This can cause the skin to produce more oil. It might take a bit for your skin to adjust but it should help. If acne persists, try some spot treatments with glycolic acid or salicylic acid.

I agree with what your cousin say about it! They sell smaller sizes so you could always try it that way. Usually Fresh has so sets too that include it. I’ve loved pretty much all the Fresh products I’ve tried and they work very well with my skin so couldn’t recommend the brand enough.

@ludago My mom wore a full face of makeup most everyday, so I was exposed to cosmetics early on.  In fact, she used to sit my baby sister just outside the bathroom so she could put on her makeup and watch the baby at the same time.  I personally think it's fine for children to play with makeup, but I don't have children so you can take my opinion with a grain of salt!  Since you posted this in the acne thread, I wonder if you are asking about makeup to cover blemishes?  If so, I think good skincare is the first concern.  Then, finding any appropriate would come second.  Sometimes I think younger children with acne are more interested in covering it up b/c they might think it's more conspicuous.

I personally don't find the mad Hippie greasy (as one poster stated).  I use that. I have also used the Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. Honestly I'm not thinking the effects are an immediate thing, but seen over time.  For the price alone, that is why I didn't buy (and haven't tried) the DE. @akhilaal

So I have really oily skin so when I found out Rihanna was coming out with her own foundation for oily skin I was stoked. I purchased thisfoundation for the first time around November of last year (haven’t stopped using it since) ever since I started to notice these bumps on my cheeks that aren’t really like pimples. They’re just raised bumps that are red and won’t go away withANYTHING. I’ve even visited an esthetician and have gotten medical grade products as well as facials. I’ve noticed that sometimes when I apply the foundation my face stings a little and I never paid much attention to it but my skins keeps getting worse. Has anyone else reacted negatively to this foundation ?

@Lilynewbs  I use this oil at night mainly when I break out (about a week every month). I like it because I feel it does help with preventing more breakouts but at the same time, it really just is tea tree oil with the Sunday Riley name. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to test out and see if it works for your breakouts, then just pick up some tea tree oil.

If you can afford it Silverskin acne kit will clear you right up. I know the scientist behind it. Silver is antibacterial + so much more. It’s the only thing that works for me. Good luck. P.s if you try it wait 10 days to judge because it will get really bad before it gets good. Might experience extremely dry skin for a few days but once it gets the job done everything will come together beautifully. Only use mask once a week. Don’t go over board with toner and moisturizer. Silverskinproducts website has all the information. Check it out. You’re welcome lolll

Go to your gynecologist. Have bloodwork done to narrow it down because he/she may just put you on birth control pills and depending on your desire to have children in the near future... it’s not the last resort for hormonal. A dermatologist may give you antibiotics. Don’t agree to Acutane. You’re still young.. I am 32 and have been struggling since 25 and years of just trial and error with random harsh products left me with pretty damaged skin which makes it difficult for it to naturally repair itself in my scarred areas. Dermalogica products worked well for me for nearly two years. Recently my skin has become used to these products and my breakouts became constant. I have switched to the Peter Thomas Roth line and its going very well for now... But go see a doctor as soon as you can. That way you avoid scarring as early as possible.
