@GG84Thanks for the recommendation! I just got a sample of the liquid version DR. JART+ - Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Camo Drops (the cream version was out of stock when I went in) and it seems like it works pretty well for what I need it for. I'll check out the cream next, the drops were a bit too watery for me so I think that might work better.

The glycolic night serum doesn’t make me break out, it makes my skin look noticeably better overnight usuall.  when you start using a product like that you should realy start slow.  Like 2-3 times a week.  And you shouldn’t use the vitamin c serum and the glycolic serum together.  I would stop using everything besides the glycolic night serum just a few times a week and see if it clears up.  You should only add one new product at a time when you add something to your routine so you can figure out what product you react to when you have a bad reaction.

Also, my reply was totally skincare based. You mentioned that you cover-up blemishes, I assume you mean makeup when you say that. If you choose to wear makeup during the day, I would use the oil at night. The spray would still be great under makeup after you wash your face in the morning!  (I would look into how your acne cream reacts with makeup though?) I am assuming you put the cream on after you moisturize and before you apply your base makeup, however, using so many different products on one's face can also just irritate the skin and cause breakouts / dryness.  Experiment around, try the acne cream without makeup for a day or two and see how your skin reacts. Or try it the other way around and avoid using your acne cream for a couple days to see how your skin changes. Sometimes just allowing the skin to recuperate for a couple days on its own is also very helpful, products won't always solve everything.

Hi @avamariee,   If you have acne prone skin, look for a primer with ingredients that help combat acne. Also, look for something lightweight and without silicone. The BAREMINERALS - Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Anti-Redness Mattifying Primer helps both calm and clear acne prone skin. It also has clay in it which helps mattify the skin. It's best paired in conjunction with BAREMINERALS - Blemish Rescue Skin-Clearing Loose Powder Foundation.    I hope this helps!    Please send me a private message if you need further assistance.   Stay Gorgeous, Penelope

For acne, you might want to look at a serum with salicylic acid. A vitamin C serum would help with the scarring. And a hydrating toner or serum may help with the oil control.  As far as moisturizers, I really love the CosRx Oil-Free Moisturizing Lotion with Birch Sap in the morning and then Belif Aqua (in summer) Bomb, Belif Moisturizing (in winter) Bomb, and Caudalie's Vinosource Sorbet Cream Moisturizer in the evenings.  @kmm422

im back.! don’t see why it wouldn’t work cause face is apart of body and the skin... it’s still skin. so body wash or not as long as it’s dove works... anyways also! GO to the doctor and talk with them about it first before maybe going to a dermatologist and having to shell out thousands or whatever... they can help and recommend different things. do your research and also just because a doctor is a doctor doesn’t mean they know everything and what they say is the end all be all.. so just. do what feels right to you and a doctor does sometimes know what he/ she’s talking about. he recommended me a prescribed benzoclin gel and it has helped immensely fairly quickly. just two uses. i haven’t been consistent with that as he’s said to be.. as it’s already worked so well and i’m not keen on the smell/ having to be sooo careful with it and it’s side effects and how strong it is. (just look it up you’ll see).. but i’m guessing for me i just needed a little push a stronger push into my skin and i don’t have severe acne so it worked. i’m continuing to use it on the remaining parts of my skin and just all over, even the now clear part(shockingly surprising) .. luckily with my favorite wipes (see above) ,drinking water,(as usual) & my exfoliating with the above routine,i’ve been able to keep my skins minimal bouts of acne and permanent forehead (&other spots)and with any scarring i got from scrubbing too hard/much due to a major issue i recently had with a face mask i had gotten back into trying again was my older face mask i had some left of.. and the whole d a m n double masking.. uh hum looking at you sunday riley... i’m really proud of my skin. i do everything i can with it to help and am as gentle as can be maybe while putting a little pressure on it.. every once in a while. i like how i get my skin on my own to get better & while not fully gone or rid of the acne i did keep minimizing the spots and flare ups and scarring fairly well within time. every time is messed my skin up or.. did something wrong. i picked it up again. so me and my skin have been through a lot definitely.. it used to be a lot worse about two years ago but since then i’ve learned to rid of bad habits like picking at the skin and spreading g bacteria etc.. i used to just get my skin a little better by drinking tons of water & using the wipes..which i still do but.. anyways tmi again.

This used to happen to me when I tried over-the-counter acne products. Try using a topical acne treatment prescribed by your doctor. You can see improvement within two weeks but the treatment is usually a few months. For most, that is a surefire way to see real results.

While spot treatments and other over-the-counter acne treatments do provide reprieve to some, many people don’t get clear skin from them. I tried many spot treatments from Sephora and other places. The best move I made was talking to my doctor on how to clear my mild/moderate acne. We discussed the causes and treatments for acne and settled on a topical acne treatment. You can see improvement within a couple weeks, but the whole treatment lasts a few months. Don’t rush and remember the struggle with acne is a journey.
