I used to have the same problems for body acne use the ordinary Glycolic acid, I replace the top with a spray cap and after every workout or shower I spray it, it also helps with discoloration and odor, so it’s multipurpose, for oily and acne prone skin, Salicylic Acid along with a niacinimide also really helps with my skin, also trying a makeup press powder with a powder puff also helps a lot with oily skin, along with a acne spot treatment, also wash and moisturize ur face 2x a day.

I saw on TikTok (lol) that you can use anti fungal, athletes foot cream to help. I recently started using it but it hasn’t been long enough to make a difference. If it’s fungal acne, the anti fungal can help!

i was wondering if anyone could tell me if this is closed comedones or fungal acne? Or maybe even something else. it is not ichy but it feels sort of dry and rough. I thought the cause of this was because of my cosrx snail mucin and my laniege cream toner so I stopped using both and I’ve seen some what of a difference! I’ve been using Paula’s choice salicylic acid for about a month and a half maybe and it’s sort of getting better I’m not to sure. I might need to use it more frequently so I’m going to also use my glow recipe toner which has bha in it every night and then use the Paula’s choice once or twice a week. If anyone has any thoughts on what this could be I would greatly appreciate the help!

@Candacetc The NARS Light Reflecting Advanced Skincare Foundation has skincare benefits and is good for people with dry skin. It also has a pretty good wear time. Now it is 50 dollars so if you feel up to it, you could always get a sample in store and see if you’d deem it worth your money.I also have problems with my t zone getting oily, I usually apply a matte primer only on that area and a hydrating primer everywhere else.

@itzroo I just want to add that sometimes one sided breakouts can be the result of a mindless habit that introduces a virus bacteria or fungus to your skin, such as leaning your face or your hand or hair twirling. I agree you should see a dermatologist or a naturopath to rule out any precancerous lesions, rosacea or allergic reactions (they don’t always appear symmetrical either) With allergies hives can appear, disappear and reappear in different areas. in the meantime a little colour correction can help conceal them if you find them bothersome. blot a little green right over top of the redness and then tap a concealer over top being sure not to rub the green off. What you absolutely do know when you have redness is that you’re dealing with inflammation so you should take steps to lower inflammation in your body.

I would really recommend reaching out to your doctor or dermatologist @jooeellle33. They can direct you to the best items to try and they know your own individual unique skin. You can ask them about brands like Tower 28 or Skinfix, which my sensitive Rosacea prone skin has found really helpful. But just because it worked for me, won't necessarily mean they will work for you. Also anything rich in ceramides has been very helpful, if your researching things to use and try I would recommend it for sure.
