The primer you choose is really dependent on your foundation. So if you have a matte foundation, I'd recommend the smoothing one. If you have a luminous foundation, I'd recommend the matte one.

 

But since, your concern is pores and texture I'd recommend the smoothing one. A silicon based primer, is what will give you a smooth finish. So look for that in your primer.
