Peter Thomas Roth v.s. Murad

I'm deciding between keeping my Peter THomas Roth's AHA/BHA cleansing gel and another brand cleanser or purchasing the Murad Live Clear. Starter Kit. I'm a teenager with normal skin, but recently I have been breaking out a lot. I'm not sure which one to use, so any information would be helpful! thanks!

Murad hands down.

If you try Murad, just know that there is a strong purging period, so your skin may look really bad before getting better. My favorite product from the Murad kit is the Perfecting Lotion. When I first started using the kit, I avoided using sunscreen to let the products work on their own. Just try doing that and wear a hat and sunglasses if that's possible. I've never tried Peter Thomas's AHA/BHA cleansing gel, but I've heard good things about it. Have you tried looking into other acne products in the same line? I'm just wondering because your skin may benefit from a good oil-free moisturizer and cleanser, too. I hope this helps and good luck!

Hi there! :) I haven't tried Peter Thomas Roth's products...

Hi there! 🙂 I haven't tried Peter Thomas Roth's products before so I can't say much about that just yet. On the other hand, I've been quite satisfied with Murad's products. If your concern is acne, then these products are specifically formulated with active ingredients such as salicylic acid, which are known to kill the bacteria that causes pimples and acne and general. Now since you have normal skin I wouldn't worry too much about sensitivy in this case. I want to mention that I have also tried Clinique's acne 3 step system and this has also worked well for me in the past, it had cleared up my skin with progressive use. Finding a good daily cleansing skin routine is difficult but it's really with experimenting with different products that you'll be able to see what works best for you 🙂

Hope this helps and good luck!

If I were you, I would for sure try the Murad. All Murad products are made for acne prone skin. I myself have used a few products by Murad and have been beyond impressed each time. Give it a shot, you wont be disappointed.
