Men skincare

I am a man (27 years old) with mostly oily skin, dry foreheard. I want to stop breakouts, clear up acne scaring and start using ant-aging products, starting to notice a few insignificant wrinkles. What do you reccomend?

you need a skin care routine: cleanser for the acne, then moisturizer for your needs oily (light) and in dry areas.  My husband is early thirties and is now big into drinking water which will also help a lot. ... how about a light exfoliator?  I got my husband the Clinique exfoliator and just hollered to him and he says he likes it... here's a link to their men skin care line (all fragrance free which was important to him): http://www.sephora.com/browse/brand_hierarchy.jhtml?brandId=Clinique&categoryId=C7190

hope that helps!!!

The Philosophy On a Clear Dy Skin System is designed to control acne while giving you anti aging benefits. (Nothing like a good multitasker!) It contains cleanser, All over treatment, spot treatment and retinol clarifying lotion. Plus the kit is less expensive than buying the products by themselves. Since men's skin it different than women's it may take a bit longer to see results, but keep at it, you are wise to be considering skincare. Also, wear a good high SPF sunscreen everyday, even in winter and cloudy weather. Retinol products make your skin more sensitive to the sun. A good sunscreen is Peter Thomas Roth Uber-Dry Sunscreen or LaRoche-Posay Melt-In Sunscreen Milk, both are good non-goopy products that don't aggravate acne.

Hope I helped you!

Anthony Glycolic Cleanser is fantastic for both acne and fine lines.  Let it sit on your skin for a couple of minutes before rinsing to maximize contact and the ingredients effectiveness.

For acne, make sure you are using a leave-on gel or liquid with 1 or 2 percent BHA, or salicylic acid.  For acne scars, AHA (glycolic acid) gels help with skin cell turn-over.  And serums/moisturizers with vitamin C and E helps with the first signs of aging. 🙂

Products?  For acne, I like GoClear or Bliss.  Korres Wild Rose Skin Care has some good vitamins for anti-aging and skin nourishment.
