Is Glycolic acid safe for acne prone skin?

For hyperpigmentation and scarring?  I am thinking of using the Mario Badescu Glycolic acid based foaming cleanser but I also have some active (adult) acne especially on my chin.  Should I use it?

@Candy2890  Glycolic acid is fine for acne-prone skin in general. That said, cleanser isn't really on your skin long enough to effect real change in skin issues, so if you're looking to tackle discolorations and scarring, I'd recommend looking at using a glycolic acid (or lactic acid or vitamin C) based serum in your routine.
