Foundation that doesn’t make you break out

Every foundation I have tried makes me break out, including expensive and cruelty free ones. I am 29 and have dry, sensitive skin, and I prefer a light coverage foundation because I have freckles. I have a pretty solid skincare routine, but any time I try to wear makeup I just get tons of zits. Also might need a better primer. Please help!

Just go with something light.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer!! It’s what I live by. The very best foundation there is. It’s light, moisturizing, & the ONLY coverage I’ve found that doesn’t cause zits/blackheads when I accidentally sleep in it!

Also the dupe to IT cosmetics is the E.L.F. CC cream. It’s my new personal fave acne friendly. It has SPF, hyaluronic acid (moisturizing) and it’s buildable so you can create light coverage. Doesn’t make me break out! Also reco maybe not using a primer? That can set deep into your pores and clog them

Have you perhaps tried the IT cosmetics? They are designed for acne prone skin, formulated with beautiful ingredients! Also very hydrating and for a bit coverage “ your skin but better CC illuminate cream “ is very hydrating and again beautiful formula!
