Foundation help

Hello, I have recently started searching for a new foundation. I have dry to combination skin and I prefer to stay away from matte foundations. my skin is also sensitive and acne-prone. What are some recommendations for a good foundation to try?

Re: Foundation help

Hi Lolli!

There are TONS of options available!

Some things to think about:

1. What kind of product do you want - liquid, cream, etc.

2. How much coverage do you want?

3. Are you specific about cruelty free?

4. What price point are you looking at?

I have dry skin which is sensitive as well, and prefer a more dewy look lately, but used to really love a satin/natural finish.

Some that I really enjoyed/still like:

Too Faced Born This Way Natural Finish Longwear Liquid Foundation Brulee

This one is fuller coverage with a natural finish, cruelty free, I'd say mid priced

MILK MAKEUP - Sunshine Skin Tint SPF 30

Light coverage with dewy finish, cruelty free, mid priced

There's a great new one by NYX, called Bare With Me I think. It's light coverage, dewy, cruelty free and inexpensive.

I'm playing with NARS Sheer Glow Foundation Bahia

and so far it's been beautiful. This one is light to medium coverage, dewy/satin finish, not cruelty free, pricier.

Check out the foundation finder on Sephora.com as well! It will help you narrow down foundations by finish and formulation.

Lastly, don't be afraid to ask for samples! SA's are usually more than happy to make you a few samples to take home and try.

Good luck and have fun!
