Can I use retinol after cleansing face with salicylic acid face wash?

I am 22 and I have been struggling with acne and oily skin for as long as I can remember. I want to give retinol a try as I have read many great things about it. I'm thinking of purchasing The INKEY List Salicylic Acid Acne + Pore Cleanser along with the Retinol Anti-Aging Serum by the same brand. Do these products cancel each other out? If so, I'd appreciate it if any of you have any other recommendations.

They don't cancel each other out, @Vesiana but depending on your skin's sensitivity and your experience with actives like salicylic acid and retinol, I would advise using them on alternate nights.

Hi @Vesiana ! The oily skin struggles are real, I totally get it! Those products are great, and the Inkey List is such an incredible brand! Yes, you totally can. However, if your skin is sensitive, you may want to use the retinol every other day. Use the retinol serum only at night. I hope this helps! Have a wonderful day 💕
