Best makeup remover for acne?!

Anyone know any amazing makeup wipes or clothes that just take it all off in a few swipes? I bet we're all no strangers to rubbing our faces and using multiple wipes. Any recommendations for acne prone skin? I personally try to avoid fragrance as it's not very good for the skin.

I use Albolene and I don't have any problems with my skin at all. It's moisturizing, perfect for sensitive skin, and it removes makeup very well. I love this product. Anytime my hubby and I are out on the town, it doesn't take long to remove the makeup and I don't have any crazy flareups from constant rubbing or just the product formula itself. Hope this helps.

RE: Best makeup remover for acne?!

I do a 3-4 step process for removing my makeup/washing my face at night. I've noticed since i started doing this my breakouts are less often and my acne scars are visibly fading. i start with one of those magic makeup eraser cloths, (plus they're reusable so you save a ton of money on makeup cloths, not to mention you shouldn't use makeup cloths on your eyes because of all the rubbing and skin tugging involved.) next use a makeup removing facial oil to break up any makeup or dirt left over. then your face wash of choice applied with your hands but then work it around with either a konjac sponge or one of those clarisonic brushes.

I do the double cleansing process in which you use a makeup remover and then a cleanser. I'm using Boscia's Makeup Breakup Cleansing Oil along with the Origins Check & Balances cleanser. If you don't do a full makeup (primer, foundation, concealer, setting powder, the whole nine yards) then you should be fine with the Cleansing Oil only. However it's a matter of opinion.

I know your looking for wipes but I recommend trying the Clinque take the day off balm. Its easy to use, good for all skin times, and the best part you don't have to worry about it tugging on your skin because its gentle yet effective.

Re: Best makeup remover for acne?!

Makeup removing wipes are ok in a pinch but they don't fully remove makeup. You really need an oil-based cleanser to remove all traces of makeup before washing your face with a gentle cleanser.

Everyone should do this but it's even more important if you have acne prone skin to properly clean your face. I suggest the first aid beauty face cleanser and a washcloth. The cleanser is gentle and good for even the most sensitive skin but also removes makeup super well.

Believe it or not Garnier Micellar Makeup removing wipes was recommended to me by a professional.

I use that Micellar Water for my eye makeup.  Also the CVS one has the same ingredients.
