Best deep cleansing mask?

I’m a female with fair skin, i always get black heads but I frequently get bumps under the skin, or enlarged pores with that hard pimple thing in it? (I’m not sure what it’s called, easier to describe it, sorry!)they don’t hurt, it’s just there. Sometimes I have a scab or dry skin on my face for longer and when I squeeze it, that is usually attached to it. Sometimes they’re in my blackheads but other times they’re just there. It’s hard, yellow and is sort of an oval shape. I was hoping to find something to prevent those, black heads and brighten my skin tone. I do not have oily skin. I use the youth to the people antioxidant face wash, dr thayers witch hazel with rose water to tone, aleo Vera and coconut oil to moisturize. Although, I like natural, I am willing to move away from it if it’ll help. I’m willing to try multiple things. I’m really tired of feeling gross. Thank you. ***not just looking for mask. I’m looking for ANYTHING***

Best deep cleansing mask?

Origins clear improvement charcoal mask or glamglow clearing mask! Those always clear up my skin. In terms of serums I would suggest the Farmacy Honeymoon Glow!

I find Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask 5 oz to be the best deep cleaning mask. I have dry skin and it doesn’t make my skin any drier, it just cleans out my pores.

Thank you for all of your information, I will look more into your advice and more than likely take it. I’ve had a rough week so the kindness and generosity on this post has made it a tad bit better. Thank you

@Chelseyybryantt I agree that coconut oil is not the best product to use as it clogs pores.

A product with BHAs can also help futher reduce congestion in your pores. I started using CosRx's BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and saw a decent reduction in pore size. You might want to consider dietary or environmental factors that may be contributing to your congestion too.

Re: Best deep cleansing mask?

@Chelseyybryantt  Biore pore strips are a nice quick fix, though oil production is natural and anything the strips clear will be temporary- I generally think once every other week is plenty frequent for maintenance. I usually place a hot steam towel over my face for a few seconds to open my pores up first before using the strips

Besides that, I would suggest swapping your coconut oil for a squalane oil or something else that is non-comedogenic. The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane 1 oz/ 30 mL or The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL might be good options, BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil would be a great option for added benefits (though more expensive). Comedogenic= acne causing, and while I know you don't have traditional acne you do have clogged pores/ comedones and swapping the coconut oil would likely help. The vitamin C in the biossance oil is a strong antioxidant that will help even and brighten skin tone but could also potentially stow the rate at which the oil in your face oxidizes and looks "black". I have it and using three drops a day in the mornings it has lasted well over 5 months so while it's expensive it at least lasts. Downside is that it takes about a month or so to see any change even with regular use

Last suggestion- get an exfoliating serum or exfoliating mask to use at night. I love FARMACY - HONEYMOON GLOW AHA Resurfacing Night Serum with Hydrating Honey + Gentle Flower Acids because it helps dissolve away dead skin and keep pores clear and again, can help slow the oxidation process. A chemical exfoliator is good for maintaining the clarity boost the pore strips might provide
