Any effective regiments/products/tricks that help with hormonal acne?

I switch between dermaDoctor Ain't Misbehavin Cleanser, DDF Pumice Scrub, DDF Acne Foam Cleanser, DDF 2.5% benzyl peroxide gel and Peter Thomas Roth Sulfur Mask.

I can share with you what I finally resorted to for this same problem.  Hormonal cycstic acne started when I turned 40 yrs. old.  I've had facials, switched skin care products, acne treatment products, makeup products, eliminated any product that contained parabens, added the Clarisonic...as well as changing my pillow case every night, eliminating fabric softener use with my pillow cases, sheets and towels.  And all those steps were good ones and I am religious about them to this moment.  But I finally visited a dermatologist who started me on a regimen of oral and topical cystic acne products.  Solodyn taken orally and Ziana on my face every night.  It made a huge difference after only 1 month...I am now in my 3rd month.  Not everyone is jazzed about taking / using medicine, and not every medicine works for everyone.  But for me, it really was miraculous.  You could certainly visit your dermatologist for a consultation and ask about what suggestions they would have for you.

Hope that helps.

Unless you are 100% sure it's hormonal acne, you may want to check your make-up for bismuth oxychloride.  That was the cause of my cystic acne and once I cut that ingredient out...I have been cystic acne free.

Try Mario Badescu's skin care line. Their Glycolic Foaming Cleanser is great for deep cleaning and preventing cystic acne. Their buffering lotion is also great for healing cystic acne.
