Acne

Does somebody know which one it’s the best for acne and acne scars between retinol, lactic acid, mandelic acid and glycolic acid.

Re: Acne

@Pammyang It really depends on your skin. What's your skin type and what products are you currently using in your routine? BHA/salicylic acid is a really great acne-fighting ingredient and vitamin C can be super helpful for dealing with scars but of those you listed retinol is one that can help a lot. That said, you wouldn't want to use any of these without a good base routine of cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen so you don't irritate or damage your skin. You may also find that you need a good combo of these types of ingredients to get the effects you want. And don't worry about combining acids with retinol- they don't cancel each other out, you just have to keep an eye out for irritation from overuse of actives.
