Acne and dry skin?!!!!!

I’ve been breaking out a lot recently and I don’t want to do about it because I have dry skin. I never wash my face because my skin gets extremely dry from using cleansers. I don’t know what to now !!

@MoonlightSky My best guess is that you may be using a cleanser that is irritating your skin.  I rec FAB Pure Skin Face Cleanser.  It is a favorite on BIC - and of mine.  The FAB line is known for being very gentle, with great results!  🙂

This is my struggle as well @MoonlightSky, if I don’t wash twice a day I’m breakout central 😩 I find that using an oil cleanser instead of a foam cleanser makes a big difference for my skin. I like the Argan oil cleanser by Josie Maran because it leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed but not tight, and I follow up with her creamy Argan oil moisturizer. I was worried at first that the oil in these products would cause more breakouts but my skin hasn’t been this clear in a long time! It really soaks in to my pores giving me healthy, soft, glowing skin. 

If I’m having a really dry day, like after being out in the sun, I really like to use the Face Butter as well. It just adds that extra kick of hydration and gives a great moisture barrier. I hope these help!

The oil cleanser from Caudalie is really nice too, and actually helps with oil control. It's also a CLEAN at Sephora brand which is an added bonus! It will leave your skin feeling smooth and soft, not dry or tight. I have acne-prone combo skin and this cleanser has worked wonders for me.

To help with your dryness and acne, you should find a cleanser that hydrates your skin and follow up with a hydrating moisturizer. First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Acne Clearing Charcoal Cleanser has great reviews along with Kate Somerville Exfolikate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash. I hope these suggestions help.
