Acne Scars

I have acne scars, I absolutely hate them. I have combo skin, does anyone have any recommendations?

Re: Acne Scars

The best thing I have found for acne scars is you need something to "shed" or remove the dead skin cell layer from your face, and drive products deep into your new growing skin.

The EGF Serum works great, as does their face peel. The microneedling tool drives any type of serum you put on your face deeper into your skin so there's more absorption!

@mandymarieblack   Drunk Elephant products are wonderful.  Another company with great products is Biossance.  Their Squalane and Glycolic Renewal Facial and their Squalane and Phyto-Retinol Serum are recommended to help with the skin issues you mentioned (plus others.)

If you go to Biossance's site, at the bottom of the pages that feature the above products, you will see  before and after photos of a customer who used those products for a specified amount of days.  If true, it's pretty impressive.

Re: Acne Scars

@mandymarieblack If it's hyperpigmentation, then you can use a vitamin C serum like C-Firma DRUNK ELEPHANT - Rise + Glow™ Duo and an AHA or AHA+BHA like Framboos DRUNK ELEPHANT - NightBright™ Duo, along with keeping your skin well moisturized and sun protection

Else if it's not acne hyperpigmentation and something more severe like boxcar or ice pick scars, you'll need to consult a dermatologist for procedures.

Re: Acne Scars

@mandymarieblack  I found when I started using an essence it helped my scars fade. I really like SK-II - Facial Treatment Essence
