Figuring out what to wear

Good morning everyone.

I am just playing around with my limited wardrobe trying to figure out what to wear on Monday when I go into a Sephora to get someone to show me tips on my makeup application.

Depending on the weather this may be the winner.

What do you think?

So cute! I would wear a top within the color palette that you wear the most to get an accurate idea of what makeup is going to work best for you, so if neutrals are your thing this is perfect. Hair looks amazing too!

Good morning @newmankmc! Thanks for the note. That's the thing, I am not at all sure what my colour pallet is. This is all very new to me and I am trying to figure it out as I go. Do you suggest getting the colour pallet down first and go from there? I think neutrals would be my go-to, but I am not 100% sure.

I would go on in to get your makeup recommendations and since the artists will already be looking at what tones work best with your complexion I'm sure they would be happy to talk to you about what colors you should try in clothes as well!

@newmankmc that's a great idea. I am putting the trust in them as they are the experts. To be 100% honest, I am pretty stressed about Monday already. The first time I went out in public wasn't a great experience and that has been a barrier since then, From what I have read, Sephora is great so I am trying to be optimistic it's going to be a great and enlightening day.

Well I have always been taught that was does not kill you makes you stronger and I am getting inner strength to take these next steps.

@KamFray Love the top! Hopefully the weather’s nice for your trip to Sephora on Monday.

I still remember the first time I walked into a Sephora and asked for an advisor’s opinion on my makeup. It was so intimidating at first but they were so kind and really helped me improve. I hope you’re able to walk away with a positive experience too!

Thank you @CynthieLu! I had fun trying to go for a cute look. I am more of a jeans and nice top kind of gal, so that's why I picked those. Maybe a jean jacket to tie it all together.

Hey @JoSometimes! Thank you for the compliment. I actually saw this type of outfit on a short reel and I said to myself that's the look I want, so I dove in.
