Phenoxyethanol allergy

Hey everyone! So I'm not really makeup savvy, and partially because I'm allergic to an ingredient that's almost in every product, phenoxyethanol. Hoping someone out there has the same issue. I'm looking for a really good foundation and waterproof eyeliner that doesn't have it. Thanks in advance!

I know I'm really late her but I just developed a phenoxyethanol allergy recently. I love Tarte Clay Stick Foundation so I'm relieved it doesn't have phenoxyethanol! Other Tarte foundations have it so be careful! Not sure about eyeliner but I can also tell you that Belif has great skincare that is synthetic preservative-free. Hope this helps!

I found that Kat Von D’s lock it foundation doesn’t have it but her concealer does which is super weird.

Hey! I actually started using it but at the same time as my period. So I was also breaking out so I’m not 100% sure if it was the foundation. But I also found out that Kat von D’s lock it foundation is okay just not her lock it concealer lol.

@lilobelle I don't have any foundation suggestions, but have you tried Julep gel pencil eyeliners? I like them much better than even Urban Decay or Marc Jacobs.

Crazy late here. But I’ve recently developed an allergy to phenoxyethanol as well. I’ve been looking for foundations too. The Becca Ultimate Coverage doesn’t have it. I bought an tried it, but it’s a bit heavy IMO. So I’ve been searching again. The new CoverFx Power Play appears to not have phenoxyethanol and looks like it may be lighter weight than the Becca, so I’ll be trying that one next.
