2025 Skincare Check-In Challenge: LAST Week! - Don't forget hand + foot care

Happy New Year, BIC! ✨ We’re stepping into 2025 with a crucial reminder: we must take special care of ourselves — this year and EVERY year. Some of us may already have set resolutions and/or stellar routines nailed down; regardless of where you are on your self-care journey, we could all use a few extra nudges and motivation to spend some extra time on ourselves! 🤝

Much like posts from previous years, we’ve come up with a list of weekly prompts to challenge you to strut your self-care skills. 💗 This time around we’ll be focused on all things skincare, because when our skin feels good, we feel GEWD. 🌟 We encourage you to participate and respond to the prompts that inspire you – and don’t be shy to share any other self-care tips and tricks along the way!

~~Week 1 (1/8 – 1/14): Curating the perfect rise and glow ☀ skincare routine to kick off your day~~

~~Week 2 (1/15 – 1/21): Relaxing in your favorite face/eye mask(s)~~

~~Week 3 (1/22 – 1/28): Trying out tools to promote wellness (rollers, high tech tools, DIY massage . . .)~~

~~Week 5 (2/5 – 2/11): Washing your makeup brushes, towels, pillowcases, etc. — whatever touches your GORG face~~ 😘

~~Week 6 (2/12 – 2/18): Stimulating your scalp with treatments/serums (yes, this is skincare too!)~~

~~Week 7 (2/19 – 2/25): Sharing your favorite jumbo or refillable skincare goodies to get the best bang for your buck~~ 🤑

Week 8 (2/26 – 3/4): Giving your hands and feet some extra love (masks, creams, exfoliants, etc.)

@TeamBIC What a great challenge for this time of year!

I've been experiencing skin that is drier than usual. My normal routine of products isn't keeping up with my needs. My skin looks congested.

I took a chance on one of the holiday Skinfix sets, and I am soo happy with the results!

The cleanser, serum, and moisturizer actually seem to soothe my skin and make it look more even and clear, on the first day!

And no clogged pores.

@TeamBIC Fun thread! I pretty much just have a nighttime routine, so if I want glowy skin in the morning I'll add some to my moisturizer when I go to bed. Works everytime!

@TeamBIC For a quick rise and glow I start off with to clear up any oils and kinda use it to do double duty to tone my skin first thing.
is a new addition to my routine. It’s light and creamy and absorbs beautifully. #tatcha the brighenjng serum is my new vitamin C. It’s got an almost watery serum consistency. It leaves me with a nice light glow. I follow with which has a pale pinky nude colour.
Everything together is quick absorbs well and feels so lightweight on while leaving my skin feeling fresh and lightly tacky and ready for makeup. The adds a natural touch of colour to my lips while making them comfortable and hydrated.

I’ve been using for the past few weeks in in the mornings right after I get done showering then I massage two pumps of Nature Republic Ginseng Gold Silk Facial Toner and follow with Missha’s Chogongjin cream. That has kept my skin super hydrated this winter and the perfect rise and glow routine 🤗

@Ispend2much6 Ouhh gotta love instant results! Running a humidifier can help too (while you’re at home at least), but it’s good to know what will give immediate relief.

Week 1 (1/8 – 1/14): Curating the perfect rise and glow ☀ skincare routine to kick off your day

My basic morning skincare routine:

CosRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Essence

- has a very light tint, blurs and gives my complexion a soft brightness.

The extras:

- I'm slowly getting back into exfoliating toners and this one is lightweight, absorbs quickly and helps to illuminate my complexion.

brightens with the niacinamide and vitamin C. This has been good for reducing the appearance of my dark and sun spots which in and of itself adds brightness to my face.

Rhode Glazing Fluid gives me bouncy, dewy skin.

sloughs off dead skin which gives my lips more life and that just makes my entire face look brighter.

Sulwhasoo Glowing Lip Balm hydrates and smooths.
