is there such thing as too many samples?

Does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the amount of samples they own? I just went threw my collection and counted 30+ samples that I have collected from either past Ipsy subscriptions, Sephora orders, value sets, siblings etc. Samples always get me so excited because I love trying out new things BUT some of the samples I receive aren't my shade or colour and I feel super bad wasting them. They often just get thrown into the stockpile of other samples and I tell myself to wait for a cool occasion to use it (ex: I can't wear perfume to work so I wait for a nice occasion). It can be hard to keep track of and remember.

I donated a bag of unopened samples to a local women's shelter this past weekend AND IT FEELS SO GOOD AND LIBERATING. 10/10 recommend.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago and decided to donate 10 tubs full of samples to my co workers who would appreciate them more than I did. I think it’s great that you donated your samples as well and would encourage you to keep doing so in the future if you feel like you are drowning in samples ☺️

I feel the same way! I get excited getting samples but if I don't use it with weeks it ends up in the sample pile where I forget it exists. Very cool idea to donate to the shelter! I just take them to my office and put them in the bathroom with a note saying take me home. Will consider your idea next
