hi group! Just received a gift of dr. Jart masks which I am very excited to try. She did buy the product off another site so I wanted to check in with you all if it seems authentic to you, and how you all check to make sure products are authentic?

There isn’t an authentication verification code or whatsoever. The best thing you can do is buy the real item from Sephora, then compare it to your current Dr.Jart. Look at texts, colors, text alignment, material, and product consistency. The return it back to Sephora. It could be cheap because it might be expiring soon (if it has an expiration date).

Honestly, counterfeit products are getting more and more difficult to discern from the real thing. The counterfeiters are getting so good with their attention to detail. That’s why I won’t order cosmetics from online retailers that don’t specialize in cosmetics. I don’t want to end up with an eye infection or a serious allergic reaction.
