My straightener has recently died on me, I’m looking for a new one but I also have really curly hair so I need something that will work really good but not to pricey.

The drybar stylers are pretty amazing. Have you tried keratin straightening in salons? It is also done with heat when applying keratin, but overall less damage than using heat tools every day.

@BellaBabee I've read that Hot Tools has some nice inexpensive options. I've only used expensive ones, but I've certainly had some that were $$$ that weren't that impressive but I don't think cost is necessarily correlated to quality - just like with any product 🙂

I believe that a good heated tool is essential, but there are other things that help curly/wavy hair to straighten and hold the straight - like healthy hair, heat protectants, etc. Tag me if you'd like product recs. 🙂

Babyliss nano pro. It is pricier but I look at it as an investment. I have extremely curly hair as well. I've had the same one nearing 10 years and it still works

I have long, wavy hair, so straightening my hair takes a good 20-30 minutes every morning (almost as much as it takes to get my makeup done!). I've recently discovered the Amika Perfectly Polished Straightening Brush and it has cut down my hair time by 50%. It's a hair brush that you heat up and it straightens your hair in 10-15 minutes flat. It's a bit of an investment, but if you think of how much getting regular blowouts costs, it saves you money and time.

Right now, there's a nice set with the brush as well as a full size nourishing mask, dry shampoo and matte texture spray. It's a great value.
