what’s your favorite hair mask for bleached hair?

i’ve been using the briogeo mask overnight once a week and i’ve been using the it’s a 10 mask and the amika repair mask after whenever i wash my hair (i only wash my hair 2-3 times a week). i’m not impressed with the amika mask and i want to switch to a new mask. has anyone tried the living proof repair mask or the repair while you sleep mask? the living proof mask has 3.9 star reviews and i normally only buy products with 4+ stars because products in the 3 star range are dodgy. what masks do you recommend?

I’m not blonde now, but I spent a year bleaching it and then box dying it back to brunette, I also heat style frequently so my hair was quite damaged. Since introducing to my hair care routine they health of my hair has improved significantly. It helps to build bonds to repair hair and keep it strong. When I use it regularly I notice less breakage, it’s easier to manage, feels soft, and looks shiny. I also noticed it helped with hair growth since my ends weren’t constantly breaking off anymore. I definitely recommend checking it out ☺️

yeah i use olaplex 3 on overnight mixed with my briogeo hair mask.

I have Asian hair and had heavily balayaged/ombre hair for a long time that was about level 8 blonde at the ends and Oribe Masque for Beautiful Color legit saved my hair. I found it more effective than Olaplex #3 (although the two are completely different products that do different things). I would shampoo, throw on the Oribe mask and clip up my hair and go about my business for half an hour and then go back and wash it off. It also works just leaving it on for a few while standing in the shower, but I found that leave it on longer definitely made a bigger impact. Its a pricey mask but definitely the best one I've ever used.

Hi! Because Olaplex works internally, it is best to not mix your treatment with another treatment. We recommend washing hair if hair needs a shampoo ( if it is clean - simply rinse) towel dry, apply your Olaplex treatment, let process a minimum of 10 minutes ( the longer it is on the most effective - you can not overuse it) then shampoo and condition with Olaplex No.4 & 5 for best results! wait i just found the masque. i really want to try oribe products but they’re just so pricey. i’ve been thinking about trying their bright blonde shampoo once my shampoo runs out but i’m not sure yet. i’ve been hearing good reviews about their gold lust masque but it’s 66 dollars for 5 ounces. the moisture masque is slightly cheaper and has an extra ounce of product but the gold lust masque has better reviews. but thanks for the recommendation i’m definitely going to try out an oribe mask once my masks run out 🙂

A really good pre-wash option is the Organic Olive and Aloe Hair Mask from Venus Secrets. Venus secrets also have various shampoo and conditioning options, but the Hair Mask is the item I would most recommend as truly making a difference for damaged hair.
