Best hair oil?

Hey there, I’m looking for new hair oil so I’d like to hear your experiences of these hair oils:

- Ouai

- Oribe

- Kerastase

- Gisou

My hair is coloured, medium thick and in quite good condition. I don’t want hair oil to be too thick or greasy, I just want it to make my hair silky soft and shiny

@lauraeve out of your list I have only used Oribe. I also use

Both have helped my hair feel soft and shiny.

I'm not one to switch up hair products, so this is huge.

I also really like one by Matrix which has been discontinued. I, too, like Alterna Kendi Oil. I like to use

for use when my hair gets a little frizzy (I spray it onto my hands) and

either in with conditioner, or on dry hair. I do find it a little thick and silicone-y at time, though.

I also like It's a 10 Miracle Oil with Keratin. I use it in the winter, though, when I want something lighter. If you are looking for a hair oil without silicones,

is good, but I don't reach for it that often.

Although it's not on your list, I'd personally avoid

i love

recently I've been using Oribe, but i dont see much a difference, i'm not sure if it worth its price....

Another great, super light oil is 100 proof from Drybar. I sometimes use it with the hot toddy before I blow dry and then add more 100 proof after and it STILL is very light. Also smells amazing.

If you want something that will make your hair smooth, shiny and have a nice rose scent, I highly recommend the Ouai Rose Hair & Body Oil. It's silicon free and hydrates your hair. You can also use it on your body, too!
