I am looking for recommendations on pre-shampoo products, i.e., overnight masks or something that can be applied to dry hair minutes or hours before shampooing. I don't like Olaplex #3 because it has to be applied to wet hair.

For my pre-poo treatments, I use hair oil on my dry hair and top that with a conditioner. I'm currently using the Madam CJ Walker Beauty Culture Brassica Oil and the Not Your Mother's Matcha Green Tea and Wild Apple Blossom Conditioner.

I've been using <LI-PRODUCT title="AQUIS - 01 Prime Water Defense PreWash" id="P437294_2146173"></LI-PRODUCT> and it's been a game changer! You spray onto dry hair before showering. It's supposed to protect your hair when it's wet. I guess your hair is at it's weakest when it's wet. All I know is my hair has never been softer or shinier after using this stuff!

Id recommend Huile de Leonor Greyl. It is about 60 bucks for a good sized bottle of it that will last you a long time. It is a 'celeb favourite' (Brad Pitt and others whom I cannot remember). So you warm up the oil and massage it into the hair you wish to treat, then leave on for half an hour or all night or whatever you want. I use it sparingly as a leave-in and have done for several years, Huile de Leonor Greyl is most definitely my Holy Grail. It smells incredible, very 'French perfume'. I have better hair now at age 50 than I have ever had and put it down to this treatment and Nioxin shampoo. I can go for a year without a haircut and not have any damage even though I wash and dry daily. My hair is soft and shiny and pretty thick and Im sure it is because of this oil.
