Moroccanoil hydrating or moisture repair shampoo and conditioner?

Which of these two shampoos and conditioners is best based on your experience? I have medium thickness, long wavy hair. My hair is pretty healthy, never color or chemically treated it. I rarely use heat so I just a few split ends. I have an oily scalp so I’m looking for something that doesn’t weight my hair down but moistures and keeps my hair healthy.

Yes! I use the Ouai detox shampoo usually once every two weeks, sometimes once every week. I’d say it definitely helps. Not really looking for a clarifying shampoo, just one that cleans it normally and won’t weigh it down, while at the same time keeping my hair healthy

Ahh gotcha @Dianap43 when I read oily roots I thought it was worth mentioning. I love using a detox once in awhile to really get my scalp de-oiled. 🫶 It feels so good right?

@Dianap43 As promised, I tested both of these shampoos (one on each side of my head). I only had the , so I tested both with the same conditioner. I air dried without any product after shampooing. The was easier to spread through my hair to get to my scalp, easier to rinse out, and I liked the fragrance a little better (the are both the signature Moroccanoil fragrance, but subtley different). Neither weighed my hair down or made it greasy, but neither was very hydrating. It was easy to comb my hair after shampooing--no tangles. The moisture repair shampoo was better for frizz and smoothing, which makes me wonder if it might be a problem with repeated use in regard to product build-up. Since it doesn't sound like frizz or damage is a concern for you, maybe try a mini of the hydrating shampoo, plus a mini of the mask instead of the conditioner.
