Hi, does anybody know of a good curling iron I've tried tons, but none of them are giving me the mermaid hair I want. The beachwaver worked okay, but it still wasn't the mermaid hair I was looking for.

@EllaCraig I get the best wavy mermaid hair when I curl with a flat iron, are you familiar with this technique?

Hi there, this depends on the size and length of the curling iron - but also the length of your hair. For myself, I can use a 1.25 or 1.5 long barrel but prefer a 1.25; instead of using the clamp on the curling iron, use it like a wand and wrap your hair. However, don’t hold the iron vertically, hold it horizontal. this is the only brand I use. Once your whole head is done, spray with a texture spray and stick your head in the freezer for a second to set your hair, then gently brush out the curls. I like to add a styling cream like pureology shine bright taming serum.
