Dry shampoo

Hey I have fine, thin, straight hair but lots of it. It gets greasy the day I wash it at the end of the night so I’m looking for suggestions of dry shampoos or just any tips to stop it from getting oily so fast! Thanks!

@nataliek01 I love Klorane in the loose powder form. Apply it before you need it.

@nataliek01 is the only dry shampoo that doesn't make my hair look worse.

Some general tips:

1. Make sure you are rinsing out your shampoo and conditioner really well.

2. Keep conditioners, masks, leave-in conditioners, and styling products away from your scalp.

Hi! My hair is same . The struggle is real.

I recommend . I proactively spray this in my hair as soon as it's dry in the summer & it gives volume like I had a blow out .sops up thr greasies too. But you gotta rub it in well if you have dark hair like I do. Never fear though, it can be done! If you try & like they have an upgraded version of this thats got more volume or something to it .

With hair it’s often like with the skin on your face. The more you try to remove the oil the more it gets produced. It’s of course important not to put conditioner anywhere close to the scalp. There are also great products for cleaning scalp . Personally hate dry shampoos , they only mask the problem

Apply your dry shampoo immediately after you blow out your hair - NOT when your hair gets oily

100% agree with this. I also found that a silk pillowcase will keep my head cooler at night so i don’t sweat as much and my hair doesn’t get as greasy. i can now go two if not three full days without grease (including to the office and without a slick-back style). good luck!
